Greetings Everyone! I am Asad Fazal from Pakistan. I hope everyone here is doing well and enjoying their life with family and friends. Today I'm here to take part in the SEC Season15 Week1 challenge. The topic of the challenge decided by the community team is "The Wonder of Science". So let's start.
Science has helped build a great civilization. - What is your opinion on this matter? |

Yes it is 100% true that science has helped us in building a great civilization. From technology advancements to medical industry, from power supply to advance farming methods, science has played a vital role in all fields in the world. Science has significantly contributed towards the progress and development of human civilization.
If I talk about few things that science has done then it helped us to make the power of electricity, life-saving medicines, to explore the outer space, communication around the world and outside the earth planet, farming methodologies improved, and most important problem-solving.
In short, we can't deny the contribution of science for building a great human civilization. Without science, we would be in the old ages even in 2024. All of the ease of life is with the help of science.
How do you think our lives would be if there was no science? |

If there was no science, our lives would become more challenging and hard. The rapid growth in population was the biggest issue if there was no science because we can't be able to fulfill the needs of billions of people in every field medical, agriculture, clothing and others. Let's discuss some aspects that would be affected if there was no science.
1. Healthcare
Without science, we would lack in the understanding of various dieases, antibiotics, and vaccines. It would become hard to diagnose a disease and treat it well to save humanity. Many illnesses that are now treatable because of science would be untreatable without science.
2. Agriculture:
With the help of science, we have learn new methods that have improved our agriculture sector. Without science, it was not possible to cover the food requirements of billions of people. Because with science we are now able to increase our food production with advance farming techniques.
3. Technology
The most affected sector without science is technology. Till date, what we achieve in technology is because of advance studies of science. Without science, we would never be able to invent mobile, computers, internet, and other technology items that have transformed our lives and daily work.
If you could ask a famous scientist one question, who would it be, and what would you ask? |

If I want to ask a question from a famous scientist then it would be "Albert Einstein". We all know his inventions and it general theories of relativity. He is also known for his famous equation E = mc2. The question I would like to ask him if he was alive today is:
"I want to know how the field of theoretical physics would have evolved if you were actively contributing to it till today. If we take into account the advancements and discoveries of current time since your time, which area of physics would you be interested in?"
Share three amazing science discoveries that make our lives easier. |

There are many science discoveries that are amazing and made our lives easier than before. Let me talk about three of them one by one here:
1. Electricity and Appliances
With the help of science, we understand how to produce electricity and to use it for our daily life work. After that scientists make different electric devices that are now evolved into advance version. Our home appliances and other appliances are part of it.
2. Internet
The internet is another discovery of human beings that is done by Tim Berners-Lee, who invented World Wide Web. Since internet invented communication across the world, online learning facilities, and platforms for countless services and information had become easily accessible.
3. Antibiotics
Third discovery with the help of science that had made our lives easy is Antibiotics. One of the famous physician and microbiologist, Alexander Fleming, discovered penicillin and it is all with the help of science. Antibiotics are very important for humans because they help you in treatment of bacterial infections.

You have very nicely discussed the role of science which is very important, I can say with 100% sure that now everything that is discovered by science is necessary for us, as long as the things discovered by science are progressing more and more.
Also you gave three examples out of the inventions, electricity internet is very important without it current is very difficult, anyway nice to read your post, stay well, good luck to you in this competition.
Greetings, science is contributing to our every field. Science's discovery of electricity is linked to all other discoveries. Internet has increased the speed of our work and made the tasks easier.
