SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country"

Hello dear friends! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this Steemit engagement challenge season 17 week 1 in this Steem For Bangladesh community. The topic of this challenge is "Season Of My Country". So let's start without any more delay of time.
How many seasons in your country? Which one is your favorite and why? |

Friends the name of my country is Pakistan which is among the beautiful countries of the world. Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with all types of blessings. In this case there are many things which make my country unique from all other countries and the presence of all four seasons is one of them. Yes Pakistan has all four seasons winter, summer, spring and autumn which hit Pakistan in different months in a specific interval of time.
These all seasons make my country more beautiful as they all have different vibes, tastes and consequences. So if I talk about my favorite season then without any hesitation I would like to tell you that the winter is my favorite season. Yes I like winter very much due to its uniqueness and beauty. I like winter because during that season the temperature remain cool, sometimes below the freezing point in different regions of my country.
But the place where I'm currently living the temperature remain about 10-15 degree Celsius during the winter season. So I enjoy that coldness, in sitting around the fire, eating nuts with friends and talking about different things. All these things made a die Heart fan of winters. Besides them in winter we wear different types of warm clothes to provide extensive heat to our bodies which has its own uniqueness. So due to all these reasons the winter is my favorite season.
If there was one season you wanted to skip forever, which one would it be? Explain the reason. |

Ooh well! If I want to skip a Season forever then it will be the summer season. Yes I don't like the summer season even it has its own uniqueness, beauty and charms but there are many other things which I don't like about the summer season. First of all in the summer there is a lot of heat outside which resist us to stay home during the afternoon. But when there is night the extreme also comes back which make it difficult for us to sleep. During winter the temperature in my area remain 40-45 degree Celsius which make difficult for us to travel.
This is because the chances of heat stroke increase in that extreme heat. In summer the days usually long as compared to winter season which make us tired of everything. In addition we become Unable to work with more focus because there is a lot of sweat on our body and when the electricity gone it make us more difficult to survive without fans and air conditioners. So due to all these reasons I don't like summer season too much.
Describe a traditional or special activity that people in your country do during a particular season. |

Yes in my country different types of traditional or special activities are done by the people in each season in different regions. If we talk about the spring season it is usually called the season of happiness because with the arrival of spring New branches of the trees begin to sprout, all kinds of beautiful and fragrant flowers begin to bloom and birds begin to chirp in the trees. So the fragrance of beautiful flowers spread everywhere and make the environment more elegant. After seeing the charms of spring season the people organize different festivals in whole country.
If we talk about the festivals during spring in Punjab province then the famous festival of flying kites Basant is organized and celebrated in different regions of Punjab. Through that festival the people cherish the arrival and beauty of spring season. In this the people fly kites of different colors in several cities and Then the prizes are distributed among the winners of the festival. Besides this many other festivals and traditional activities people do in Pakistan during the spring season.

- Holy Festival (Hindu Community)
- Jeep Rally in Cholistan
- Horse and cattle show
- Tree planting
All the activities are a very integral part in the traditions of my country Pakistan. And due to this all these festivals are celebrated during the spring season especially the plantation of trees. The government of Pakistan also organize the tree planting festival in schools, colleges, at provincial level and at other places as well.
Are there any special foods or drinks that people in your country enjoy most during certain seasons? If so, what is it and why? |

Yes different kinds of special foods and drinks people enjoy in different seasons because every season has its own uniqueness and beauty as well due to this they brings many delicious dishes and drinks to the people of Pakistan. In this regard if we talk about the drinks so in summer season different kinds of drinks people take to stay hydrated and to keep themselves away from the extensive heat. The sugarcane juice, lemon juice, lemon water, Sardai and many other drinks people love to take.
This is because all these drinks are helpful during the summer season and plays a vital role in dealing with extreme heat. Also they keep us safe from the heat strokes and dehydration. Now if we talk about the dishes then I would like to tell you that different types of delicious dishes are prepared during the every season. Usually in winter the people prefer to eat sajji, chargha and spring etc. All these dishes are very tasty and delicious and they holds a great significance among the people of Pakistan.

You presented a beautiful contest .Thank you so much for sharing a post by which I come to know about the seasons of your country.You have presented wonderfully the different seasons of your country with its characteristics.Every season has some own characteristics. One is different from other. Nature changes it look in every season. By reading you post I come to know that there are four seasons in your country. Some like most winter and some like other seasons but I nothing dislike because every seasons is important for us and the hottest season of your country is summer.The temperature is high in this time. Go ahead and best wishes for you.
Pakistan is a country blessed with all four seasons, each with its own unique charms and activities. Winter, with its cool temperatures and cozy atmosphere, is my favorite season. You would skip the summer season due to extreme heat and discomfort. During spring, traditional festivals like Basant are celebrated, while special foods and drinks like sugarcane juice and sajji are enjoyed throughout the year in Pakistan.
