the competition continued with the female team where the Faculty of physical science was up against the Faculty of management sciences

the game was a walk-over as the girls of the faculty of physical science didn't show up thereby making the faculty the 2nd runner up

the finals were played on Wednesday being the 3rd of march 2019

the first final was the female teams and the Vice-chancellor of the University of benin was around to cheer her girls to victory or at least that was what she thought until the whole school had a shocker of the competition.

after kickoff a few minutes into the game, the faculty of Engineering went ahead through their highest goal scorer by name of Ochuko, the faculty of education pulled one back through a deflected effort by an engineering player

the heat of the game was on a different level as cheers from the crowd were heard from miles away from the competition grounds

engineering girls went ahead again through the legs of Ochuko and this made her the highest goal scorer of the competition but Education leveled up later in the game when they equalized through their captain by name Debby

the game ended with a scoreline of 2 goals apiece and we went on to penalty shoot out

the shoot-out ended in favor of the Faculty of Engineering by faculty of engineering 3-2 faculty of Education.

the faculty of engineering female team made history as they became the second team to win the competition the first time they ever participated and they also pulled the crown off the faculty of education who has won the cup for the second time in a roll prior to this final.

soon after we saw last years finalist for the male category lock horn, it is said in African proverb that when two Elephants fights, it is the ground that suffers and this time it was no different as we witnessed a battle as the Faculty of Engineering locked horns with the Faculty of basic medical science

Engineering took the lead early in the game through their highest goal scorer by name success but basic medical science pulled one back before the end of the first half with a fantastic faction as Odafe dribble past the best defender in the university of benin for 2018/219 session.

engineering went back ahead with a superb goal from Francis but it wasnt enough to hand them the trophy as the faculty of basic medical science pulled out a shocker in the last minute of the game.

2-2 was the scoreline at the end of normal time, the faculty of basic medical science ran out with the victory as they won on penalty shoot out by 2 goals to 1
