Meaningless
Dead chats
I wish I stayed home
Four men
Not too smart
Far from attractive
Narcissists with beards
How did I end up with this quartet?
Beards, bears, black and red
The love of my life sold her soul
She will leave me because of them.
Why do I hide
Pretend
Follow
The club of boring writers?
The president can't write himself
Each one of them has a ghostwriter
Why do they brag about talent
Is the achievement caused by the right hand?
One slick after the other
They did it, feel no shame
Here I stand as a member
Invited, still an outsider
Will I be like them?
Am I already?
What will Sophia think if I throw the towel?
I get a shave as soon as I am out of here.
Ten months with them is too long
I have to escape before I change
I can't be one of the boys.

En este poema has abordado el tema de los círculos cerrados; esos que visten, hablan y actúan de manera distinta a los demás. Pero eso no es lo más grave, sino el hermetismo como actitud para no dejar que nadie se acerque a ellos o pretendan igualarlos.
Por eso se muestran soberbios; y esto abruma a cualquier mortal que no desea lanzarse a esa piscina con tibuirones, jeje.

Círculos como ése es mejor evitar. Por mucho que uno se esfuerce, ser aceptado, respetado no está en ello.
Debe ser una vida agotadora la de esos hombres con barba.
