Today marks the first day of the month. A new month to celebrate the goodness in life and a new month of hope and happiness.

Today is the 1st day of November and aside from celebrating and remembering our departed love ones, this day is also the day for #spud4steem initiated by @kiwiscanfly. A monthly event done every 1st day of the month by powering-up and increasing Steem Power in our wallets inorder to support #steem blockchain towards a better future.

This month I was inspired to do the power-up in participation for the #spud4steem event. This is my 3rd power-up beginning last month to show that I fully support this event and the #club5050 program by #steemit. I understand how important powering-up is and this is my way of giving back and showing support to the community.

This is also to inspire other users in #steemit platform to do the same and power-up their SPs and together we empower our beloved platform Steemit!.

Now here's what I did to succesfully power-up.

An hour ago I checked my wallet and this how it looks like. I have .072 Steem and 613.146 SP (- 452.227 SP)

What I did was I went to the market and bought Steem to power-up.

Buying Steem to the Market

➡️ I went to the market and bought 164.716 STEEM for 14 SBD. I confirmed the transaction then clicked OK then after I was asked to log-in in my wallet.

➡️ After buying steem in the market I now have 161.471 Steem enough for powering up .

Powering-Up

➡️ In STEEM I tapped the 🔻drop-down button then select power-up.

➡️ Confirmed Transfer to Vesting then clicked OK

➡️ After powering-up this is how my wallet look like. I was able to power-up 161 Steem

Finally I was able to power up more than 50% of my earned SBD. And I will continue to power up if I have enough funds in the future.
