"Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week 2:My Family, My Inspiration @rfprincess

Good day to all my countrymen and all my fellow steemians. I am happy to participate in the contest here at steem Philippines, and I want to use the contest as a privilege. This is my first time posting here in the community. Having a happy and whole family is every person’s dream when they get married. But in today's world, some are deprived of destiny.
I am grateful because I am one of those blessed to have a whole and happy family. I got married at an early age and was blessed with three wonderful children.

This photo was taken at the Virgin of Simala on May 12, 2019. My family is a devotee to the Holy Virgin of Simala. This photo is very precious to me because it was our last family picture of my husband and my children that year since I was going abroad. This photo is also very valuable because we only once have a photo that we are whole. After all, my kids don’t like to take a photo.
I’m happy when I look at the picture because I can still hold my kids here in the picture, meanwhile, now that I’m here in Japan, I can’t hold and kiss them. I cry when I think of scenarios like this. Being away from my family is the most heartbreaking and emotional time, but I have to sacrifice my feeling to support them.
Being away from family is not easy. There are times when I miss them, but it gets better every time we had a video call, thanks to the technology. From them, I draw strength so that I can continue my desire to give them a good life.
This picture is a symbol of resilience and happiness no matter what problems and tribulations come will not be eradicated.
Our family is not perfect, we also have misunderstandings and conflicts but are resolved quickly.
My family is my motivation to pursue my dreams.My family is my inspiration and source of strength to face any challenges I have here in Japan. Especially now that there is a pandemic and no one knows when it will end.
