How old was I when I got hooked on social media and how is my attitude so far?

When I joined social media I was 18 years old and it was April 2016 and after completing my primary and secondary education when I reached college life, on my request my grandmother bought me an Android Mobile from my house which was named "Huawei Y3ii" and its market price was Bangladeshi 6190 taka or 247.6 steem. Since then my social media journey began.

Originally I started my social media journey initially with just Youtube & Facebook. Later I connected with other means of communication and they are What's app, Instagram, imo, Telegram, Twitter, Discord, Snapchat, etc. These communication media are very effective or useful for finding various information through the main social media and also for communicating with everyone and at the same time watching various dramas, movies or programs of the whole world can be enjoyed from here.

In my opinion what is the appropriate age to be connected to social media?

I think it is a good time for an adult person or people above 18 years to join this social media. Because there are many things in these social media that attract young children which destroy their learning as well as mental thinking. There are both good and bad sides to social media which is why most kids spend most of their time on the bad side which is not appropriate for their age. That's why I think it will be the right decision for people after 18 years to come through these communication channels.

What can I say to those who are not responsible for managing social media?

Basically people connect with social media for their needs or entertainment. In that case, people manage all the wavelengths they use according to their own will. People use these social media according to their likes or dislikes. No one is responsible for anyone's work or account management. So my point is that these people should use these communication media according to their needs and keep all the documents of all their accounts with themselves and increase their responsibility on themselves.

My ideas on how to manage a social media properly

A social media management requires gmail through which any social media can be accessed. So the first thing a person needs is to collect or remember all the documents of his social media account. Then the person should use 1 account for his use if there is no difficulty in operating with 1 account. Avoid liking and commenting on unknown pages on social media. To keep your account safe, don't connect with anyone other than yourself or people you know. Managing the communication media in a proper way by keeping the document or data of your account stored by yourself without transferring it to anyone else.

What do I think will happen in our future with the power of social media?

Social media is a site where we can know the news of the whole world at home and can gain knowledge about distant places in advance. Social media is very effective in alerting people about the early signs of various natural disasters. Moreover, these social media work for easy communication with friends or relatives at a distance. Today's world is developing through social media with various information and working to solve various problems. Later or in the future, the world can be managed through social media and people can benefit from knowing various news.

Advantages and disadvantages of social media in my life

Advantages of using social media:

• It is a great platform to connect with people around the world.

• A popular means of communicating with your near and dear ones.

• Opportunity to express your opinion and get opinion from others.

• Social media helps reduce loneliness in socially isolated senior citizens.

• Social media allows rapid dissemination of public health and safety information during crises. ETC.

Disadvantages of using social media:

• There are many fake/fake users on social media due to the activities of posting porn images and obscene comments which is really sad.

• Spreading false information creates anxiety among a certain region.

• It is like an addiction, young generation is doing great harm due to its negative use.

• Use of social media may expose your personal confidential information.

• Criminals use social media to spread various types of fake news to commit crimes. ETC.

Conclusion

The world is improving with the Internet. In earlier times, people used to send information over long distances through letters, but today's Internet has made it much easier to share information with various social media.
