Opening of classes in public sector for school year 2021-2022 will start on Monday, September 13, 2021. As part of our preparation, we do sort the modules.

But before going to school after our 2 months break, separation problem between me and my daughter was again felt. While I am changing my clothes after taking a bath, my princess hurriedly hug me and tell me that she wanted to go with me. Tears fell down again on my cheeks as I listen my little one. But, being a working mom I need to fight this separation problem and I just let her understand. Though she really can't understand well because she is still 2 years old I just explain to her that mommy needs to go to work but no worries because I will be coming home in the afternoon. I wanted to do this so that when she grow up, she can remember and understand easily our routine.

Since covid cases arises so fast in our place and our school becomes an isolation area, the Elementary school needed to adapt us. So, all the modules were brought to Mactan Elementary School near our school so that we will not be too close to the asymptomatic patients who stayed on our school.

Then the school we stayed provided us 8 rooms. 4 for us and the other 4 for senior high. The admin just divided us into groups so that the first group will work in the morning and the other 2 groups will work in the afternoon so that we can still practice the proper protocols.

We then started to sort the modules. Arrange it by page then make a booklet. Other people thought that being a teacher in this pandemic is just very easy and chill. They thought that we don't have things to do, we will just sit and distribute/retrieve the modules. But that is a wrong perception, since we are the one writing the modules, the school will copy many pages and we will be preparing it by sorting before distributing it. Then after a week we will be collecting their answers and we will be checking almost thousand of papers, record it and make a grade. We also have lots of paperworks to accomplish like class record, daily lesson plan, work week plan and a lot more. We were also the gardener in the school and we do the cleaning in the classroom. That's how difficult and stressful our work in this trying times. And sometimes, even its so dangerous to visit our students who are not complying their activities, we will still do it so that we can help them pass this school year.
