Essay: My New year's day celebration

Greetings to every member of the steemit Philippines community and specially @steemitphcurator for bringing in this awesome contest which is about our new year's celebration. We all celebrated our new year day in different ways, showing love to friends and neighbours.

A peaceful atmosphere, with sounds of fireworks was just two entirely different things we wouldn't match, everywhere was filled with the "Happy New year greetings", this was just around 1:00 am on a Sunday morning, the streets were so busy as if it was a bright day but this was just 1am, people filled the streets with joy and sounds of a new year day.
Me and my family had to go home and take a rest for the new day, because we had a service to attend.
In the clear bright morning we all went to church, the streets were just booming with sounds of the new year, we were just happy to witness another year, how fast time runs, it's just like we celebrated the other year, some months ago but this is a new year, it runs so fast.
We had a joy filled service which lasted for just 2 hours, invitations were thrown all over for anyone who would love to pay a visit that day, because food preparations were made for visitors, different delicacies prepared that day to mark the beginning of a bright new day.
After the service, we all came out to take couple of shots we were all with our nice dresses, new dresses i think! The kids there made wonderful poses which deserved a nice shot, and I didnt slip back I gave them deserving shots.

After we were drenched with photos, we left for our different homes exchanging pleasantries, the road was busy with smiling faces, all happy for seeing a new day.
Moving fast to my evening, it was very nice to have visitors and families at home, my mom prepared food, which we were there helping her cook, since there was light we entertained out visitors with drinks and also music videos whicvthey danced to it. Was that all for the day?, I went out with my bro and family to the Tropicana mall, which was filled with mass number of people, the place was all filled up and people taking pictures and having fun, loved ones staying together and being happy to see a new day, a new month and a new year, I was not excluded from this fun, we also had fun.. we didn't really take photos but we were with friends so we were just talking and having fun. It was actually a nice and stressful day and we all slept happily.

New year's day are always so special cos it marks the beginning of a new era, and the contest was all about how we enjoyed our new year day, I have dropped how I enjoyed mine and I hope you had fun while reading mine
