Hello everyone this me parineeta from India, welcome to my post for one more time. I hope everyone is doing well i am also happy and enjoying a happy life.Today i am going to share another healthy food option which is easily available anywhere in our country. The purpose of sharing this post is to aware my friends about the health benefits of these common food items,so that they can include it on their diet .
Star fruits
I am talking about STAR FRUIT, in my locality it's commonly known as "KORDOI" .It is generally found in two taste sweet and sour and talking about the shape it's like five pointed star.
There are several different types of varieties some of them are yellow or green in colour.Star fruit is loaded with healthy nuetrients. So it's very important to include this in our daily diet.
It can be taken raw ,u can take it as a salad or one can make it's chutney. My kid also loves to eat it raw cutted in star shape,i think he likes it for its shape like a star,but he prefers sweet taste than sour.

Star fruits are high in vitamin c and copper and some other nutrients like antioxidant. Star fruits are also good source of fibre which promotes our digestive system and help you feel full for longer.
The plant compound of Star fruit is known to reduce fatty liver risk and cholesterol related problems,but people who are dealing with kidney problems should always talk to their medical adviser before consuming Star fruit.
It helps in weightloss. It contains High source of pottasium which is beneficial for cardiovascular problems and helps in reducing blood pressure.
Star fruits are great source of Vitamin A which helps us in improving our vision and prevents various kinds of diseases such as cataract,it is also good for our skin.
Star fruit is also rich in vitamin B-Complex , which is good for our body and it also improve our metabolism and immune system.
Lastly we can say Star fruit is very healthy food our overall health and including it in our diet helps to protect us and our family from suffering from various diseases.
How to eat Star fruit |

we can also make Star fruit jam or pickle but but i generally prefers eating a ripe Star fruit raw in salad.
If i got sour star fruit then i always preferred to make chutney by grinding it,or sometimes i use it to make sour fish curry . There are several snacks we can make from Star fruits.
No mater how you like it to be eaten you will be benifit with good source of nutrients .
Eating Star fruit in regular basis gives our body adequate amount of protein which helps us to produce hormones, enzyme and other essential chemicals which is good for our health. I prefer it taking in regular basis to keep myself and my family healthy free from diseases.
