Tips to promote Communities on other Social Media platform || by @educator23

There are plenty of ways to promote a community via other social media platforms. There are paid and organic ways to increase the awareness of a community. Below are some tips from my side to promote our community @steemindiaa.

If everyone promotes their own post or any contest post on their social handles like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. They can bag in some new users who want to learn about steemit. Promoting on your own handles will establish your personal social handle pretty well.

1. Creating a community page on Instagram and posting daily content related to steemit will create awareness for steemit.
2. Instagram stories have a good reach and you can directly share your post link with it. Using appropriate hashtags and doing some paid advertisements will help to grow.
3. Creating tutorials, short videos, carousels, etc for the Instagram page will be beneficial as people tend to read carousels more than single posts.
   

1. Creating a community page, ad account for promotion, or 2. a Facebook private group will help our community to stand out.
2. Facebook is best for paid advertisement as organic reach has witnessed a downfall in posts. Rather than focusing on more posting, we can focus on building a tribe/ group on Facebook.
   

1. We can promote community by posting on Twitter, the retweet our fellows steemit related posts on Twitter will bring more reach.
   2 There is an AMA feature on Twitter and we can conduct voice meetings or promotional parts on Twitter as well.

1. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube related to steemit but none of them has hit a million as of my knowledge. Because most people post a single video or the content is not that good. So creating a well-planned & structured series on steemit is a must.
2. We can Record our Zoom session or meeting and upload it to youtube. The subject for the meeting session should be

• What is Steemit?
• How to create a Steemit Account?
• Know your Steemit Keys?
• How to Post or How to Write your first post?
  my experience, my journey, tips, tricks, etc.
  
  
  Above were the tips to promote our community on the most famous and highly used social platforms. There are several other platforms but these are the best and focusing on multiple handles is a bit hectic. So, There are some Other tips that we need to know before starting to promote anything -

1. Every promotional Post should have a purpose behind it. There has to have some value for people in the posts you are posting on other platforms. Posting only promotional content will lead to people giving you unfollow or they will be unsubscribing.
2. Rather than posting in random groups, building a tribe of your own on another platform will be beneficial in long run.
3. Having Q & A sessions and ASK ME ANYTHING (AMA) are best for engagement with new people as they get their doubts clear first hand.
4. There has to have some budget for paid advertisement because organic reach that too in large numbers is difficult to achieve.
5. Giveaways are the best way to get what you want. Just see an NFT Community growing with this strategy.
6. There has to be a specific group of people promoting and creating content for other social media and others back them by sharing that content. In this way, the community will grow 10x.
