A LETTER TO MY FIVE-YEAR-OLD SELF

Dov, you were five and still too young, so you annoyed your teachers and thought your cute looks would help your cause. I suggest you try and be a good boy because only that will make you a good future citizen.
You were ten years old and in fifth grade. I appreciated your efforts that you turned into good boy in the last few years. I always knew that you were capable of doing better and satisfying your parents and teachers.
I knew you loved writing stories, and a bright future was waiting for you in the coming years as a writer. I also knew that your father was against writing stories, but he wanted you to become a doctor.
Do you remember your pa's eyes, filled with dreams, when he asked you, "What would you like to be in the future?" I remember you wanted to say, "I would love to be a story teller," but you said, "Doctor." Actually, you did not want to disappoint your father by revealing your plan.
Dear Me, When you were sixteen and in high school, you were doing great in your studies, and your first story was published in a children's magazine. By eighteen, you were published in many prestigious magazines, and according to your publishers, your chances of becoming a good writer were bright.
What a lovely feeling that was for you, and if you were dreaming big as a future writer writing novels, you deserved it.
Dear Me, At eighteen, you cleared C.P.M.T and got admission to one of the most reputed medical colleges in the country. And then you had to concentrate on your studies. But you did not forget about your first love of writing stories.
For the first time in your life, I saw you blushing while talking to one of your classmates. She said something you least expected from one of the prettiest girls in the medical college. I knew you were nervous, and she probably knew this too, as she was smiling and looking at your face.
It was a pleasant surprise for you when your father learned about your passion for story writing through a newspaper that published your stories with your picture. Do you remember how happy your father was?
Dear @dove11, If you follow your heart and passion, your choices will feel like taking a new flight high on the horizon. It is better to adjust to the situation and devote your time to beautiful opportunities that life offers you from time to time.
At 23, you had earned fame and a degree in medicine. What’s more, your friend of five years in medical college, she was still with you. I knew about your ambitions to join a medical team at WHO, which could fulfil your dreams of travelling all over the world in coming years, and you did.
When I look back after several decades at your successful career I feel great. I want to congratulate you how you believed in yourself and achieved all of your goals. I know you have been writing for a long time, and I also know that you are happy with your progress. My best wishes.

Touching letter to your younger self,no doubt it would encourage him even though he would not understand many things at first,but seeing that you would become a doctor and save lives,at his young age he would see himself as a hero.By the way a thank you for your contribution to health,doctors are our great heroes in pandemic.

This is huge, published a book at 16 and went viral, you have made your father proud, I only hope your younger self will follow your steps and do good in education as you have done, I don't know if you did join WHO, but I know you have not to limit to what you can achieve and your younger self is seeing that.

Wow, if i were to write this letter in your place, i would be scared to reveal everything too detailedly because some aspects might end up changing. Your present life is very successful, thanks to the persistence right from your younger days. I like the way you handled both the medical career and authorship, it's so incredible. Your younger self will be so pleased to receive this letter of assurance.
