Good morning my healthy friends and a happy new week to you. It's a new week of the Steemit Engagement challenge season 16 week 3, and I'm excited to welcome us all and to also send in my entry.

Personal care products; Are those things we apply on our bodies or make use on the external parts of the body on daily basis to promote personal hygiene and our overall well being and appearance of those body parts that they are applied on.

🚿What is your daily routine when you wake up, what products do you use and what function does each of them fulfill?

After waking up, of course I must finish all my house chores first before starting my personal care. I always love entering the bathroom last, as in to be the last person to enter, so that I can take my time especially on weekends, to carry out myself hygiene.
Let me highlight some of my personal care products I use on daily basis:-(the most used)

Mackleans toothpaste
Silka papaya cream
Extract soap
Nivea deodorant
Spa salt
Passion perfume

Now let's look at their functions each

Extract whitening herbal soap provides that penetrative cleansing on your skin, thereby leaving you with a more radiant and that youthful glowing on your skin. That is why it is more suitable for light skin tone individuals.

How I love this cream, I have been using it for ages now since when I got to know about it.
This cream contain natural papaya extract that lift up dead skin cells thereby giving you that clearer, younger and even tone complexion.

Amongst all the deodorants you can think of, I love using Nivea and Sure, give me any of those two, I'll love you to the moon,maybe because of its long lasting fragrance and its effectiveness to keep your armpits dry from sweat at all times. Forget that it is called Nivea men, women also uses it.

Although this is one amongst all my cologne I use, I like mixing different perfumes just to confused your perceiving sense. But this is also good. It has a long lasting effects too.

I love it when I pass you by, you'll be like "please what is the name of your body spray.

🚿 Do you consider that you take care of your personal hygiene? justify your answer.

Very well. There's a saying or quote that says that:-

"Cleanliness is next to Godliness".

Although this is not obtainable in the bible, it is just a saying with deep insight.

Poor hygiene can expose one to be in higher risk of contacting infections and illnesses, because bacterias thrives on dirt, sweat and dead cells so by taking your bath regularly and washing clothes you'll prevent the bacteria from spreading into your body, thereby causing problems to your health.

Good hygiene can make you feel comfortable to socialize and be around people but when you sweat and have body odour too,my darlings people would be avoiding coming in close contact with you.

And also taking care of my personal hygiene boost my confidence to be around people. For instance when I do a combo of my perfumes, I love to hear those comments from people "wow or awwwwn I love your fragrance and I'll be responding with my shoulder high withthank you. Then maybe I ran out of my products, don't have money to replace them immediately, I won't be comfortable at all, sometimes I'll be wondering what my scent is like.

My cream for instance can last me up to 3 months if I buy the biggest size.
My soap takes like 3 weeks
Perfume last like a month,if I'm the only one using it.
Because I can so mise and be using it small small 😀, especially in these times, no try me.
Toothpaste can last for a month and some days.

🚿 Do you think that to maintain good hygiene and/or appearance you need to spend a lot of money?

No you don't need to spend a lot of money before you could maintain a good hygiene and appearance. Taking your bath, brushing your teeth, shaving your armpits and washing of clothes doesn't cost much just shaving Stick, water and soap and the magic would be performed.

You don't need to buy expensive products, I have seen someone glowing using coconut oil as her cream, I do mix it sometimes in my cream as an oil syrup, it smoothen the skin.

And also thank God for this oil perfume that are common nowadays, you can get the 3ml that goes for just 700 naira, that is just 1.55 steem and you'll still be smelling nice.

And don't forget to eat healthy, mostly vegetables and fruits, drink enough water too. Avoid too much of junk food. And watch you blossoming like the morning flowers.
