Importance Of Adequate Sleep

Welcome to the post. Hopefully, all of you will be doing well and enjoying the time with the grace and blessings of Almighty Allah. Today, I'm here to be a part of the contest organized by dear mam @suboohi in the Healthy Steem community. The topic of discussion for this week is very much interesting, Importance of Adequate Sleep. So, let's start the discussion without any wastage of time.

How much adequate amount of sleep is beneficial for good health.


Sleep is very important because it is one of the most vital component for a healthy life and balance in amount of sleep is much important, so adequate amount of sleep varies from age to age. Generally the more less age you have, the more there would be sleep needed to your body and the more age you have the less sleep you need.

As I am teenager so in my age minimum of 7 hours and maximum of 9 hours is enough requirement to sleep and mostly I sleep for 7 hours because of schedule of a student and I also manage other tasks due to which most of the time I only sleep for 8 hours at weekends.

Mostly after 30 years of age sleeping time becomes less than 7 hours and it varies depending up on the lifestyle of an individual and in the same situation if there is a person who is less than 15 years then sleeping time would always be more than 8 hours depending up on the exact age.


Problems that may cause by lack of sleep.


Lack of sleep is a condition which is not health friendly and it cause different problems to an individual like if someone is not taking proper sleep then there are chances of mood swings or deterioration and a person would always remain in a state of dizziness and confusion which is a side effect of having less amount of sleep.

If you are having less sleep then it also develop your body functioning and cognition becomes weak due to this. Lack of sleep also leads to obesity which is considered the root of most of the diseases that are related to systemic disturbance of body like diabetes kidney diseases or many more.


Problems that may cause by excess of sleep.


Excess sleep is also alarming situation for your body if you are having it because if you are feeling dizziness and if you are feeling fatigued then these are the signs that your body is attracting diabetes towards you so having access sleep is an indication of that you may be prediabetic person.

There are stress hormones and mood boosting hormones present in your body so when you sleep more than requirement then your stress hormones release and hormones that boost your mood suppresses so it increasing stress level in your body and ultimately it leads to increase risk of cardio vascular diseases ,respiratory diseases and most of the diseases that are related to hindrance in organ functionalities.

As risk are very high and are very horrible if your body is demanding excessive sleep from you so that's why it is very important to keep yourself aware to the actual time of sleeping which is your requirement so that you may catch your problems at the very earlier stages and protect yourself.

Yes, you are right about the sleep that you have discussed about this topic and what you have explained in it with age. Really, if you talk about others, you are a student and you are seven hours. and when it's a holiday, we sleep for almost eight hours. This is a good thing because we need sleep badly. If we don't get enough sleep, we will get sick. will have to do when we won't even be able to finish our work so getting enough sleep is very important and Thank you very much for mention me.

With the need to resting properly and the reality of implementing this, I see having a sleep pattern as important because in this time and age where one has to put in the work especially as a student, this might eat into one's sleep time and one of the ways of making it less harmful can be to have a sleep pattern the body is used to.
