SEC-S16 / W1 | An Artistic Parasite🪱

This contest let my imagination run wild. Lol... I couldn't come up with a conventional parasite, but how about another one? Yes, this can be related to science, but it explores a different branch — call it psychology! Or that's up to you. It doesn't really matter, as long as the parasite is there. The contest is all about creativity and the parasite.

According to Oxford dictionary:

parasite (noun) is an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other's expense.

So here we go!

Hmmm... That's tricky. It Just came to my observation during a recent event, or you can say, a gathering.

You can also spot them in social gatherings, workplaces, or even on social media platforms.

Picture this character – the attention-hungry parasite, a real drama queen in the psychology scene. They're the energy vampire of the social circle, always sipping on the emotional smoothie of others. It's like they have a never-ending appetite, a buffet of needs – praise, time, resources – you name it! In the realm of psychology and science, tackling these emotional moochers becomes a bit of a quest, a wild ride in understanding and dealing with their insatiable cravings.

I had fun creating and playing with this parasite.

• Used markers and colored pencils to draw and colour the parasite.

• Employed editing techniques, adjusting elements like brightness and fine-tuning details.

• Leveraged CapCut to give the creation a polished, textbook-worthy appearance.

• Transformed the artwork into an animated video, adding dynamic layers to the creative process.
