Good day everyone, I am believing this contest to meet you well. Happy new year oce again. Somehow, we face a whole lot of health problems due to lack of rest through sleeping or on the other hand not resting when we should, today, I will be highlighting the dangers of not having an adequate sleep as well as dangers of sleeping too much.

How Much Amount Of Sleep Is Beneficial For Good Health

Medically, it is being advised to sleep in a day 9-10 hours, this gives the neural and skeletal system the needed time to relax and get prepared for the tax to come. Also, this frame of time gives the microbes needed for digestion enough time to digest the food we ate so it could be function well.

Sleeping 9-10 hours in a day gives the brain all the time to rest so it could perform well. It's quite understandable that some jobs might be time consuming but one has to do whatever it takes to rest when the opportunity shows up.

There are so many problem associated with lack of sleep and ofcourse the issues are not far fetch, let's look at but fee of the health related problems associated with lack of sleep;

• Heart disease

• Kidney failure

• High Blood Pressure

• Stroke

• Diabetes

• Weak immune system

• Poor memory

• Irregular heartbeat

• Insulin resistance

• Anxiety

• Psychosis

There is a cliché that goes "too much of everything I a disease", I can't agree less on this, anything not done in moderation will always attract one issue or the other, excess sleep not excluded. The health issues associated with excess sleep is almost the same issues faced without sleep, let me remind of some fee of those;

• Heart Disease

• Depression

• Unhealthy bones and joints

• Anxiety

• Kidney failure

• Stroke

• High sugar level which will lead to diabetes.

I understand from this piece that sleep in excess and also sleep deprivation is detrimental to one's mental health.

Oh wow! Indeed too much of everything is bad, I am surprised at how many negative effects too much of sleep causes.

Thanks to the life of a student, we cannot be categorised under that.
