Hello my Steemian Friends..

Aging is a normal condition where changes occur on the face over time. Everyone will experience it. Can we delay it? This is an interesting contest to participate in. Therefore, I will invite @fantvwiki @meriseptriyanti and @miftahulrizky if they haven't written their posts yet.

What is the medical process behind aging and from which age it actually starts?

I imagine our bodies as a collection of cells that come together to form a life. They have a time span to operate that corresponds to the running time. Their functions gradually decrease due to age. And I think that's what gives our bodies the change that we call aging.

As to when the aging process begins, it varies from individual to individual. The aging process begins at the cellular level from birth, but symptoms may not become apparent until decades later. Some of the physical and biological changes associated with ageing may begin to appear in middle to advanced age, but genetic variability, lifestyle and environmental factors also play an important role in determining when and how quickly a person ages.

Aging is normal. Every individual will experience it. It happens after we are actually born, develop and age over time. However, the signs are not visible and we will not notice them. At least it may only be visible above the age of 30 in my opinion.

Are you afraid of becoming older, and if so, what challenges associated with aging contribute to these fears?

There's really nothing to fear about growing old. It's a cycle that everyone goes through. No matter what we do, age will always be hard to lie to.

But what I'm worried about is premature aging. A situation where it can happen to anyone. One should only see signs of aging at the age of 30 and above, but it happens around the age of 20.

And I think special care needs to be taken to prevent that from happening. An unhealthy lifestyle could be a major factor. So it would be better if we start paying attention to our lifestyle and change it to be better and healthier.

Can you list three nutritional items that may help in preventing aging?

I think we can prevent premature aging by fulfilling the nutritional needs of the body, including :

  1. Water
    Don't underestimate water. There will be many bad things that happen to the body if we lack this. Water can also help to nourish the skin to keep it firm.

  2. Vitamin D
    This is great for bones. Vitamin D helps bones stay healthy and strong. It can be obtained from sunlight, fish and egg yolks.

  3. Polyphenols
    Polyphenols are found in many fruits, vegetables, green tea and red wine. They have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help protect cells from damage and slow down the aging process.

Could you suggest three exercises that might help maintain a youthful appearance into old age?

Apart from nutritious food, aging can be prevented by doing certain exercises or activities. Some of them are :

1. Smile

This is the simplest exercise with a powerful effect to prevent aging. Smiling makes our body produce endorphins that slow down the aging process. In addition, when we smile, the cheek muscles are pulled tighter, thus disguising the thin wrinkles that make the face look older.

2. Yoga

Yoga is an exercise to regulate breathing. Basically when we are able to manage our breathing well, it reduces stress and improves blood circulation. Automatically the aging process also becomes slower.

3. Cardio

Exercises such as running, cycling, and also swimming can train heart health. As we know, if the performance of the heart is disrupted, the blood distribution process will be hampered. It can also affect our cells which will cause premature aging to occur.
