Happy to write to you all once again, have been off for a while now.
The contest today is on "Nurturing Healthy Lives" Just as the saying goes;
HEALTH IS WEALTH.
And truly, health is wealth (good health), and it's an asset nobody can afford to joke around with.
What small changes have you made to improve your overall health? |

Some changes I've made so far to improve my overall health care.
I reduced the rate at which I eat junk foods, formerly I was so addicted to junk foods that I ate them every day but for the sake of my health and the need for good nutrition food, I started adjusting. And now I can say am no longer addicted.
I started taking fruits.
And I spend time doing some mental exercises.
How have you prioritized taking care of yourself physically and mentally? |

I will sincerely say I've not been taking care of myself physically and mentally that seriously apart from the exercises I mentioned below that I do from time to time and the foods I take frequently to maintain nutrition. Am still working on myself on this aspect both financially and mentally to make it part of my life.
What are your favorite ways to stay active and incorporate exercise into your daily routine? |

Early rising has become a part of me so I can add some other activities to my day to maintain a healthy body.
I do morning indoor exercise in my room immediately after my morning prayer and devotional, I have an app installed on my phone that I use for the exercise (Home Workout app).
Then aside from the morning exercise I still spend some time meditating for my mental health during the night before I sleep.
How do you manage stress and find balance in your busy life? |

I can't say I've mastered balancing in my life to manage stress and find balance in my busy life. Because overtime I see myself doing everything am faced with daily not minding my health and emotions.
But one thing I always do is to use the night and free myself of all the stress have been through in the day knowing very sure that one day I'll get to that point where I can manage stress properly. Right now I need to take the stress so I will not regret it later.
How important is nutrition to you and how do you make healthy eating choices? |

Nutrition is very important to me.
At my present stage in life, I've not gotten to the level of always affording a balanced diet. Sometimes I end up eating what my body doesn't want to eat or what I feel like eating.
But despite my current level in life I still don't joke with foods that are nutritious which can help my body to stay healthy. From time to time I get myself food so I don't break down. Foods like beans, yam, potatoes, fruits and vegetables, etc.
I like taking fruits because they help supply the body with vitamins and minerals, including folate, vitamin C, and potassium. It also provides dietary fiber which helps maintain a healthy gut and prevent constipation and other digestion problems. Then beans for protein, fiber, minerals, and plant-based compounds are associated with better gut health, reduced blood pressure, blood sugar regulation, and more.
This is how I maintain a healthy eating choice at my level.
Our health should be our top most priority but it seems busy days may make us forget what should be done. Taking of fruit is what should be done by us to keep our immune system strong. I wish you more.
