A warm greetings to all my fellow steemians around the globe, how are you all doing today hope you are all fine and healthy as for me am amazing by the way I'm john from Nigeria it's my pleasure having you in this amazing contest "Nature and My Wellbeing" from #Healthy-Steem, well organized by @oneray, I decided to take part in this contest to share my views and as well bring out the best in me when it comes to creativity and health factors.

The well been and the ability to overcome some challenges, illness, obstacles, and disease depends on the way you take good care of your physical and mental health such as good personal hygiene, proper disposal of refuse, proper maintenance and management of your environment and our homes that's keeping them neat all the times.

Do you have any secrets for staying calm in stressful times?
There are so many secrets or measures for staying calm in stressful times some of them are as follows.

  • the first here sleeping which helps calm the brain and also gives other parts of the body a warm rest, it very good to sleep not just a sleep but sufficient and healthy sleep like the minimum of 7 to 8 hours per that is very good for your well being.
  • secondly learn to laugh and smile more mostly with families and friends because laughter and smiles helps cheers you up and gives you a proper and happy moments in life.
  • Always stay around people who loves and cares about you because they are likely to give you the best supports and protection you need in times of issues and challenges
  • Try your possible best in creating time and chance to have a good meditation, this will helps you in making good decision and proper goal setting of your life
  • Learn to forgive and let go of the past, what am trying to say is that over thinking and troubled mind is not good for your health and well being instead it leads to anxiety and chronic high blood pressure, strokes and other heart disease
  • Try in sharing your problems, issues, obstacles, challenges and any other things affecting your day to day life to some one you Know he or she can help you, because a problem shared is half solved, so don't be afraid or shy to do so or else you will die in silence.
  • Always Pray and ask God for divine protection and guidance of your health and day to day activities, I believe nothing is impossible with God almighty.

Do you know a delicious and healthy recipe that we should all try?
For me that should be food that contains green vegetables and other fresh leaves which provides the body with minarals, vitamins, blood and other nutritional value and benefits, such foods Includes tomatoes stew, okra soup, porridge yam cooked with vegetables and many more,
Also eating good fruits plays a very important role in our body most especially the aged and does that doesn't go out for exercise because of their health challenges and there about fruit helps keep them save and sound, and also eat fruits with high content of carbohydrates and protein in order to make you strong and grow healthy.

Hello @john247 I have read this post and came to the conclusion that you wrote awesomely, you also made emphasis on having a good sleep for at least 7 to 8 hours which is right,as humans we deserve the maximum amount of sleep we can get to remain active and relax our internal organs. And also praying to God almighty for guidance and protection is also a good step to maintain calmness. Okra soup and vegetables and porridge yam are good delicacies that can help improve our health status and help the organs to maintain proper body temperature.
