Greetings to all my steemit friends. It is a pleasure to once again relate and share perspectives and beliefs with you again. As people would always say, there is no absolute truth and there is also no absolute wrong. Everything depends on one's perspectives, beliefs, and teachings. As a result, I find this contest to be interesting as I will get to read other people's ideas on walking barefoot. Remain blessed as I share what I think.
After seeing this question, the first thing to cross my mind is how used to fight with my younger sister over walking barefoot some years ago. When at home, she hardly put on shoes, and I have always been against such practice. To me, walking barefoot is not hygienic and it can also be dangerous.
Shoes are made to protect our feet from dirt and sharp objects that are on the flow. If not for shoes, I think my legs could have taken a new shape because, on different occasions, I hit my legs on either stones or other objects that could have injured me, but due to the presence of shoes, I went unharmed. In conclusion, I don't believe in walking barefoot because it is unsafe for me.
Every part of our body is as useful as any other. Whatever affects any of the parts, affects the whole body. As such, I take the position to say that the feet are very important and need to be taken care of. Remember, if the feet hurt, we can not use our legs to walk because, on it, we walk from place to place.
I believe the statement 100%. I know the skin to be porous. As such, a tiny parasite could find a place in it. Although it might seem impossible, anything is still possible. But even if the parasite can not get in it, we could still end up hurting our legs. As such, the best thing is to avoid walking barefoot.
Thinking of the world without shoes is more like thinking of it without movement. It can also be compared to imagining a car without a tire. If not for shoes, our legs could have been in trouble. As mentioned earlier, there are times I accidentally hit my legs on stones and other hard objects that could have given my legs a different shape, but shoes have prevented such injuries.
I'm also thinking that human movement could have restrictions if not for shoes. Imagine entering a farm where snakes, scorpions, and other harmful animals can be found barefoot. I believe it would be unsafe to try such without shoes. As such, I can imagine movement being at stake without shoes. And imagine human life without movement. It could have been horrible. Thanks for the presence of shoes, because I can not even imagine life without them.

You said walking barefoot is not hygienic and can be dangerous but what if I tell you that walking barefoot can ease off stress and help you relax after a long walk with shoes.

Shoes are very important and according to what he said about a world without shoes looking like a world without movement, I think he might be right because if shoes never existed, the rate at which we move will be reduced.

Hmm fighting with your younger sister became of the habit of walking bare-footed she has, is really an huge extent which shows that you love and care for her alot. I wish she can read this post of yours.
Walking bare-footed is dangerous mostly when we do so inside a bush or forest. There's higher chances of we stepping on a bottle or other sharp objects.
