I am @hudamalik20 from Pakistan. How are you all ?. I Hope you all are well and doing great in your life .Today I am participating in this contest about Self Care organized by @khursheedanwar in Healthy Steem Community.So let's start.
1) What is the importance of self-care?
Taking care of ourself is really important because it lets us pause from our everyday lives to think about ourselves get healthier and can focus on both our body and mind.Sometimes we get so busy thinking about the people that are around us and forget that we deserve the same care and love that we give to others.
Through self-care we can feel confident.When we do not take care of ourselves, both our body and mind are stressed and cannot function properly.For me self care doesn't mean only taking care of my skin, to me it also means taking care of my physical health as well as my mental health and giving myself time to calm down and think and be able to make good decisions and not get stressed easily.
2)Explain 4 tips to care yourself?
• First of all my tip is that we should get enough sleep, no matter how busy you are, you should get about eight hours of sleep and make your sleeping area quiet.Only if our sleeping place is quiet, you will be able to sleep well and get quality sleep.Because after a day's work, our body gets tired and needs rest.
•Food is our body's source of fuel.We should eat a balanced diet daily and use more vegetables and fruits in our food because they provide vitamins in our body.We should reduce the use of sugar in your diet, as many people when they are dieting, they reduce the use of sugar because they are aware of the danger that it has bad effects on our body.
• Minimize the use of mobile and social media because it is mostly spreading negativity on these things nowadays that people get very stressed, so you should minimize social media and use your mobiles only when needed, using mobile screen also affects our eyes and also our physical health and we should not sit in one place for too long, we should adopt the habit of walking and should get up early in the morning and take a walk.
• Do things that make you happy and work on your hobbies in your free time and keep yourself stress free and always approach things with a positive attitude.
3)What you think regarding statement?(Self-care is selfish)
I do not agree with this statement because through self-care we pay attention to ourselves and seek self-improvement.
I don't consider self care to be selfish, because when we take good care of ourselves we can be healthy and happy , and we can also make those people's around us happy and create a better environment and in this way we can help others and fulfill our responsibilities well.
Take this example, when you are tired and you don't take care of yourself well , you will feel tired and not in mood help others, but when you take care of yourself and feel healthy.So when someone needs you, you will always be ready to help them.
