SEC-S13 / W5 | "How can alcohol cause damage to your health! 🍺
Greetings Steemit family
Being an alcoholic means you have gone beyond your natural control after taking excessive alcoholic drinks. At this point, the person's control is manipulated by the alcohol, which intends to alter the individual five senses.
🍺 When can we say that a person is an alcoholic? Give reasons for your answer!
There are a good number of reasons to assume a person is an alcoholic,
- Early in the morning you find someone moving with a sleepy look on your face, sweating, and always hungry
- Most alcoholics are scared about life and its challenges, they feel taking that level of alcohol will help them.
- Alcoholics do not have limits, excess alcohol leads to self-destructive behaviors. These actions turn to hurt them.
- Most alcoholics turn out to be talkative, easily agitated, and insulting language.
🍺 Do you think alcohol is a drug? justify your answer!
At some point, we can consider it a drug, given that it is addictive to the individual. Any situation for me that needs counseling, a detoxification program, Therapy, and control of lifestyle can be considered an addiction case. Statistics have shown people are addicted to drugs, and a drug cloud is anything that changes a person's physical and mental state of mind. I strongly think alcohol is a drug because the result changes the mental state of the person.
🍺Can alcoholism be considered a disease? How to control it!
It is not a disease, it is an addiction. I did mention council counseling, a detoxification program, Therapy, and control of lifestyle above. That is the only means to help control. Join support groups, meet others, and above all find something to do LOL.
🍺Is every drinker considered an alcoholic?
Well, I can't conclude it at that point. Every drinker can't be considered an alcoholic, because of getting to a particular level. I did mention above about excessive drinking of alcohol, which technically applies. Drinking water, fruit drinks, and a small quantity of alcohol can be considered an alcoholic. I do drink small quantities of alcohol but don't get over the limit. a glass is good for me and nothing more.
To conclude, it was an interesting contest. This will not only be a contest but an educative medium as many will pick some to watch out for on the alcohol level of consumption.

It is so true that this contest is an excellent opportunity to learn, it's an eye opener. While it is true that alcohol intake in small quantity can be beneficial to health, I came to find out that we have alcoholics who never get drunk because they drink only moderate amount at a time. I have tried to explain this in my entry on Alcoholism drunkards who are not alcoholics and alcoholics who are not drunkards.
I wish you the very best in this contest.
You are absolutely right that we recognize a drunk person by his dirty language, his face, his way of talking. A drunk person not only gets embarrassed himself but also makes his family feel embarrassed in front of everyone. An alcoholic person spends the whole day in search of alcohol to find out how to arrange for it. For this, he does not hold back even in making his family unhappy, whether the family's needs are fulfilled or not.
