SEC - S13/W5 | " How Can Alcohol Cause Damage To Our Health! 🍺"

Alcohol is a substance that can be found in many foods and drinks from wine and beer to bread and fruits. It is produced when yeast breaks down sugar into ethanol. This process is called fermentation and it is been used for thousands of years to produce different types of food and drinks. In addition to it's use in drink and food, alcohol have been know for it purposes in history such as religious rituals and medicine. It is an intricate substance that has made an immense impact of human civilization. In my article today I'll be discussing on the theme set for the fifth week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge SEC season 13.

Determining whether someone is an alcoholic person who is not a kind of straight or process and it is often more complex when you want to measure how much alcohol that person drinks. Simply the most common definition of alcoholism is when a person's drinking habits causes a critical problem in your life including psychological physical or social problems. It is also good to understand that all is in is a medical condition that can be diagnosed.

But due to my research I have come to notice that one way to test to determine if someone is alcoholic is known as the CAGE questionnaire, which involves asking a series of question about the persons drinking habits or behaviour...

In most cases alcohol is considered a drug and the specific community basically places as a central nervous system depressant.. alcohol in the sense of a drug means it works by interfering with the communication movement in the brain which can lead to impaired making of decisions coordination reductant and a decrease in reaction time...
Like most drugs alcohol can be a habit and become addictive and people who are addicted to alcohol can experience severe symptoms of withdrawal if they eventually stop drinking suddenly...

Please also note that alcohol can also create feelings of euphoria and relaxation in large quantity which can lead to loss of bring consciousness or even death.....

If alcoholism can be diagnosed and it is considered a disease. Alcoholism is a very chronic and progressive disease. Alcoholism can lead to the physical dependence on the substance and withdrawal symptoms when the person eventually stop drinking alcohol suddenly. From the DIAGNOSTIC and STATISTICAL MANUAL of MENTAL DISORDER (DSM) it is classified as a type of substance use disorder.

The control or rather the treatment for alcoholism can involve both psychological or medical approaches including therapy detoxification and self-help groups like alcoholics anonymous..
With the right approach and treatment of alcoholism it is possible to subdue alcoholism and lead a fulfilling healthy and safe life

Not all people who takes alcohol considered alcoholic because alcoholism itself refers to the pattern of drinking that causes critical effects or harm to one's life. Like aniseed alcohol are used for many purposes such as cultural or religious rituals and the rest of them. So for some people alcoholism may be classified ideal weight of drinking large amount of alcohol on a frequent basis...
For a person to be seem alcoholic it means that the person has developed the urge for taking large amount of alcohol frequently which will lead to addiction on alcohols...
