"Blood Test”
Hello great minds,I welcome you all to my blog. There's a saying that " Knowledge is power" in regards to that, when it comes to our health, there's no better way to gain insight than through blood test. So join me as I explain in detail five types of blood test. Special thanks to @khursheedanwar for organizing an insightful contest as this one.
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
From my research,I came to understand that this is the most common blood test. This is because it provides a complete and comprehensive overview of our blood cellular composition.
This blood test helps to diagnose and monitor conditions such as anaemia, infection and blood disorders.
Blood Glucose Test
This type of blood test is conducted in other to measure the level of glucose in the body and it comes in different forms such as Fasting blood glucose (FBG),Oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and Haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)
The purpose of carrying out this type of blood test is to:
▶️ Diagnose and Monitor diabetes
▶️ Evaluate insulin resistance
▶️ Assess the effectiveness of diabetes treatment.
Lipid profile
Lipid profile is also known as cholesterol test. This type of test measures the level of various lipids (fats) in the blood including total cholesterol. The purpose for this test is because it helps to asses cardiovascular risk, diagnose high cholesterol and monitor the effectiveness of cholesterol lowering treatments.
Liver Function Test (LFT)
An LFT test measures the levels various enzymes and proteins that are produced by the liver and come in different forms too.
▶️ Alkaline phosphate(ALP)
▶️ Alanine Transaminase(ALT)
▶️ Aspartate Transaminase( AST)
The purpose for Liver Function test is to monitor liver function in people with Liver conditions,to evaluate liver damage or diseases and to also assess the effectiveness of liver disease treatment
Thyroid Function Test(TFT)
This type of blood test measures the levels of hormones that are produced by the thyroid gland,as it helps to diagnose and monitor thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. And this test is very crucial for evaluating thyroid functions and also assessing the effectiveness of thyroid disease treatment.
Note: Once you understand the purpose and significance of the above mentioned blood test,you will be better equipped to take charge of your health and also make informed decisions about your well-being.

It is no secret that we have all had at least one blood test at some point in our lives. So I think we all have good experiences with this. Usually, doctors prescribe blood tests to diagnose a certain disease. Some people are a little afraid of blood tests. Especially young children.
One type of test that is done by many people these days is the blood glucose test. This is a test that measures the blood sugar level after fasting for a few hours and after eating a normal meal. Usually, a person with diabetes should have this blood test done every month and keep a record of their sugar level. It is said that diabetes develops in rich people. 😁

Thanks for this reply,but why do people always see rich men as the ones who suffers diabetes? Does it mean that poor men don't? I would really love to have an answer to this.

It means that rich people eat and drink well and live comfortably without doing any work. They have employees to do their work. So they have to eat and drink freely. That's why diseases like diabetes and cholesterol develop because they don't exercise. So they say that these diseases are diseases of the rich. This is joke 😁 But nowadays, poor people have these diseases the most.

شوگر دراصل پریشانی کی وجہ سے ہوتی ہے ۔اور اج کل کے زمانے میں غریب شخص زیادہ پریشان ہے ۔کیونکہ جتنی تیزی سے مہنگائی بڑھ رہی ہے اور سہولیات زندگی ختم ہوتی جا رہی ہیں۔ اس میں پر غریب شخص کا گزارا کرنا محال ہے۔ لہذا دل کی بیماریاں ،کولیسٹرول، شوگر یہ تمام بیماریاں غریبوں کو زیادہ لاحق ہوتی ہیں ۔سونے پہ سہاگہ ان کے پاس علاج کے لیے بھی سہولیات اور پیسہ میسر نہیں ۔اور ان سب کا تعلق بیسیکلی پریشانیوں سے ہے۔ انسانی ذہن جب پریشان ہوتا ہے تو اس کو یہ خطرناک بیماریاں لاحق ہو جاتی ہیں۔ خاص طور سے بلڈ شوگر ایسی بیماری ہے جو کہ پریشانی کا ہی سبب ہے۔
