Contest: illnesses and diseases that comes with rainy season
Good day erudite steemians, I am so delighted to be part of the contestants in this very contest topic. Much thanks to @mesola and the community for working hand in hand to organise this very contest topic.
Illness and disease can be defined as a state of bad human body function or health. Humans tend to fall sick due to some reasons maybe due to the season, gene, diet and environment. I will be making post about the illnesses and diseases that comes with the rainy season.

Here in my country Nigeria there are so many illness and diseases that occur during the rainy season which are:
🌹Cholera
🌹 Malaria
🌹Cold
🌹Asthma
🌹 Digestive infection
Above are common rain season illnesses that occur in my country.

There are so many ways we treat our diseases and illnesses in my country either through injection, swallowing of drugs and through herbal. For cholera disease it's caused by consuming contaminated food and water the pathogens being mainly from the rain season carry poisonous infection to food making it unhealthy for human consumption. By preventing it food should be properly be cooked and covered properly inorder to prevent pathogens that carry around poisonous infections.drugs can be administered to an infected person by a doctor.
Malaria is the most commonest rain season illnesses that occur during that period. Mosquitoes grow and reproduce through stagnant water bodies around the environment which caused malaria and typhoid to victim the get in contact with. To prevent it, water bodies should be covered mostly the stagnant ones. Malaria can be cured with the use of paw paw leaf being the herbal way.

Yeah have experienced malaria and typhoid mostly because of the existence of mosquitoes in my environment. Malaria is a deadly illness that can caused death of not treated, it comes with headache, weakness, constant sweating and so on as symptoms before taking whole of the victim. Much thanks to God for always making me out safely and alive.
