Me lifting heavy weight

Greetings my admirable steemians. I must say that staying healthy is like a journey not a destination. We may easily get caught up with our busy lives and even forget to prioritize our well-being or health because of the fast paced world we're living in. In today's post, i want to explore on fitness and exercise, and how this little thing can add up to make a big impact on our health.

Read along and get inspired on how to achieve your health goals.

I personally don't allow this fast paced world deprive me of my happiness and health. So i keep fit 4 times a week with STAYFIT FITNESS CLUB and @ngoenyi being our able mentor and coach. Some steemians who knows the good effect of exercise such as @bossj23, @chichigirl @fortwis09 and @wizzyboy3 do join the club in keeping fit and staying healthy. What were the programmes for today? Let me start with our workout equipment...

Dumbbell curling photo gallery

Today we were to work on our arms as instructed by our coach. So we proceed with the first programme which was Dumbbell curling. This programme was done by holding the dumbbells with our hands, lifted it up as high as we could with our hands erect, then we dropped it down to our shoulders. We were to curl it for 60 times, so we splited into 3 phase, curling it 20 then a 10 seconds break then continue till we completed the programme. We really felt the pains on our upper arms

Marker cones picking photo gallery

Marker cones picking was the second programme for the day. I must say, this was the hardest of them all because i really felt the impacts and pains. This programme was done by laying flat on the air, place one hand on the ground while using the other hand to pick the marker cones to the right 10 times, then to the left 10 times for 60 consecutive times. While doing this programme, my hands were vibrating and and i was shivering on air😀.

Heavyweight lifting photo gallery

Heavy weight lifting is part of the programme that we did so as to help build our arms. This particular programme is popularly known to everyone. It was done by holding the heavy weight with our hands, raise it up with strength as it was heavy, then drop it down to our abdomen. We repeated the same process for 60 times. Just as the name heavyweight, it was indeed heavy because it's made with concrete. Looking at our faces, you'll get to know the power and strength we applied.😀

During this programme we made use of the marker cones by placing it on a two straight line. It was also one of the toughest programme which i couldn't complete.😀 The programme was done by grabbing the heavyweight or dumbbells with our hands, walk through the middle of marker cones placed on the floor while we go down and up with the equipment in our hands. The pains we felt was on our thigh and arms.

Body stretching photo gallery

After the four programmes was completed, we stretched for about five minutes. Stretching is very important after working out or exercising because it improves flexibility, posture and also reduce muscle soreness. Stretching can be done in different ways, such as static stretching, dynamic stretching, active stretching etc. Today's fitness and exercise was awesome and productive, though I'm feeling lot of pains right now. "No pain No gain".
