As we know, gerontology has two types which includes; Social gerontology and biogerontology. Just as their names implies, the social gerontology has to do with all the social and emotional aspects in aging while the biogerontology has to do with the physical and biological aspect.Gerontology encompasses various fields focused on aging. Some types include biological gerontology (studying the biological processes of aging), social gerontology (examining the social aspects of aging), and psychological gerontology (exploring the psychological changes associated with aging). There's also clinical gerontology (dealing with healthcare for older adults) and environmental gerontology (looking at the impact of environments on aging).
