Curator Cat: Happy Caturday to Steemit's Cat Fanciers!
Greetings lovely Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!
Today is the final Saturday of the month of January, and that also means that it is "Caturday," that special day for cats and all things cat-related! I hope you have all had a good Caturday, so far!

January has been a bit "bumpy," hasn't it?
Not that we cats really care that much about cryptocurrency, but we can usually sense the moods of the Hoomans around us, and the Dad-Hooman has had a "worried" energy about him, for the past three weeks or so.
Smudge, looking surprised, as she often does...
My housemate Smudge doesn't seem to care... but she did pay a little more attention when I explained to her that this "money" thing the Hoomans are always trying to get... is also what keeps the flow of cat treats going.
She's a little more interested, now!
Watching for birds in the trees!
Since it is very wintry, still, I'm just glad to be indoors.
Thankfully, our house has quite a few large picture windows, so I can watch the "show" of birds that come and go in the trees against the house, and come and go to the bird feeder on the balcony railing.
It's good entertainment!

A little disappointed in last week's Caturday post... I've been trying out the Steem Pet Lovers Community as a place to park my posts, but there's still not a lot of activity there.
I wonder where all of Steemit's cat lovers are hiding?

My smudge is hunting shade at the moment, the next few days are going to be very very warm.
Saw you guys have snow over there on the news tonight -nice
We are very much in the throes of mid-winter here! It has been a strange year... in the nearby mountains (at about 900m) they had driving snow for 30 days straight and it amounted to over 600cm! That ended on January 7th... since then, they have not had a single snowflake till earlier today. Go figure! Meanwhile, the US East Coast is getting pummeled... here in the west (at sea level) we're just having a lot of rain.
