Test subject? Educate yourself!

Have you ever been a test subject?

A few will say: yes and they may even have been paid for this. Most will say not. The reality, however, looks different. When it comes to human behavior, we are all guinea pigs. Our upbringing, education, healthcare, public transport, and sales of a thousand and one things all come about thanks to human testing. These tests can only consist of a questionnaire, observation, or dissemination of certain information or they tell you to swallow a pill whose result remains to be seen. When it comes to scientists and doctors, nothing is too crazy and they are willing to try anything, with or without the consent of the test subject.

I have been ill for so far the biggest part of my life,
which made me ideally suited to run every possible test imaginable without anything meaningful ever coming out of it. Sure, there were results and suggestions, in addition to empty promises, but that was about it. Incidentally, I was not only the test subject of many specialists in various hospitals but also if it comes to my family. Those who have medics in the family are the easiest to subject to the next. By the way, all these tryouts were not new suggestions, but the result of an idea published in medical journals.
Did anything meaningful ever come out of it, was I cured? The answer is no and no. The average doctor cares little about whether you get rid of your ailment, he just tries something and if it doesn't work out he moves on to the next test. The side effects and consequences are of no concern to this doctor. What matters is that he may discover something interesting (by chance) and take credit for the egg of Columbus.

A patient's file is often not allowed to be viewed by the patient even though s/he has, according to the law, the right to do so. After an x number of years, it is also cleaned up (thrown away) by the doctor concerned, who may decide for himself whether something is important or not.
For example, in my file, or what is left of it after all these years, you will never find all the tests and results I had for over 14 years, the files relating to child abuse have been deleted except for a line in a letter from the pediatrician that tells a good listener enough, that is if the reader knows why I ended up in hospital as a newborn in the first place. There is also no record in my medical file of how many pregnancies/children I have. What was too long ago according to a certain doctor can be deleted. It no longer exists and thus the implications are erased and the same questions are asked over and over again. And of course, the whole circus of being a test subject starts at level 0, if you let this happen.

It's incredibly easy to make people believe they are ill, but if it comes to health it starts with knowing yourself and having faith in your self-healing ability. This is something everyone has, some perhaps more than others, but this ability is present. Part of it is our immune system and the other part consists of our mind. Those who allow themselves to become crazy will turn into one.
Those who experience a lot of stress will always seek an outlet for this and develop physical or mental complaints. Indeed this means you become, are, and stay ill. A pill can be a (temporary) solution, but it does not combat the real ailment of STRESS. Those who often suffer from the same physical ailment become chronically ill. It appears that the DNA of chronically ill people changes, and this changed DNA is transmitted to their offspring.

Anyone who wants to live a healthy life will have to work hard to do so. Guarding your health is not easy when you have to do with poor nutrition, are surrounded by smokers, suffer from intense stress and everyone around you has had enough of your nagging.

Do women complain more than men?

Decidedly not. Anyone who knows that women have at least 10,000 more nerves than men can only respect the fact that despite everything, they know how to get things done and often take care of family and third parties next to a job. Sick or not they rarely admit they are and take the break the body needs.

As a child, teenager, at school, in the places I lived, during my pregnancies, my marriage, and my life as a single mum, I repeatedly if not constantly turned out to be the test subject. The many prejudices were back and are still today not seen as discrimination because I was born in the country I live in.

There is a poll, test, or research on every aspect of my life,
and preferably I should confirm what the researcher wants to hear after all that is what that test was set up for, and.... what applies to me applies to you reader as well.

Be careful whom you share your life and information with, do not put your trust in someone who claims to have the solution. Know, inform, and educate yourself, and above all listen to your instinct, it"s rarely wrong.
Even if you don't find the data about yourself it is and will be used and stored (there are data centers all over the world, Africa yours is in the Netherlands). Just think of all the information you share, on the internet included, for "your" convenience. It benefits someone else and before you know it you are the next guinea pig and you will never find a way out.
