SEC13 WK3 "Is drama only for women or is it also for men?"

Hello,
Steem greetings wonderful people of the steem community.

Can you imagine what life would be without drama? it did be so boring, that death would seem palatable.

Drama doesn't end at cinemas, every action carried out is a drama, as a matter of fact, our whole lives is in fact a drama and everyone are big actors, whether one wants to or not. I think I remember one of the world's most renowned writer and thinker said something along this lines too.

This weeks engagement contest is just so beautiful that missing out might hurt me for a long time. Like the contest creator said,

Both males and females may be strong in their own unique ways, but when push comes to shove, one is more dramatic than the other. What's the truth behind this....

Let's use myself as a pointer by following the contest guide questions.

Question 1: Are you dramatic by nature? Yes, no, or maybe? Why?

Like i said earlier, all humans are dramatic, though the scale varies. Let's say in a scale of 1- 10 I'll score myself a miserly 3. This is to show that I'm not very dramatic. Well the best judge of character is never oneself, but others.

I'm am not dramatic probably because I don't like drawing too much attention which is exactly what a dramatic person gets. But at times when the crowd is few or I'm amongst my own people, my dramatic nature is at its peak. I can reveal a thousand expression and faces for every speech I make; that's quite dramatic right?

Question 2: Do you think your opposite sex is more dramatic than yours? Why?

And oh yes my opposite gender is way too dramatic compared to my gender.

Over the years, I've seen most couple quarrel or disagree over something, the husband might just say a few deep words, then there goes the female throwing tantrums.

Question 3: When you get sick, do you tell everybody, or do you keep it to yourself? Why?

Well as a matter of fact, when I get sick, if it's not too serious, I try as much as possible to hide it.

This is simply because, I hate being a burden or a cause for worry.

Question 4: Are you one of those who adds some drama to the situation, or do you tell things as they really happen?

It depends on the situation though.
Sometimes adding a little spice might help offset the tension and make them see how little and ironic the situation they are magnifying really looks like.

Notwithstanding, I dish out the truth raw at times, especially if both parties are so blinded by what the believe is their principles. However, a little bit of comic would come after to let them cool down a bit

Question 5: What drama have you created in life or in public? Tell us all about it.

Well, throughout my existence on earth, I've created some drama here's one spectacular one.

Back then in my secondary school, I was always a quiet kid, always sotted at one corner, very unnoticed. In fact I was always seen as non-existent, I thought it was fun untill one day, I was accused.

She thought I was a silent moron, one who would not talk no matter how beaten he is. My name was written amongst those who made noise in class by a girl who I refused to give up my sit for. Maybe as a form of revenge for not bending towards her will my name was written. I was called out and caned amongst others. Like a grenade with its pin out, I suddenly exploded, I went towards the lady, looked her in the eye and said my revenge is going to be swift and bitter. This I did in front of the whole class. This shocked everybody. I could hear whispers and felt people's eye drilling through my back.

Well, I felt good for a bit, (getting attention sure is mind blowing!!!)or so I thought. Then I suddenly felt a kind of unease I couldn't explain and coupled with the fact that my mind screamed that was unnecessary and very petty.........

That was one hell of a drama for the class, who waited to see what I would do.... I guess the were all disappointed , cause I really did nothing, and didn't have anything to do after all.

Conclusion

As a conclusion, I would say though being dramatic is fun, but being overdramatic does just the opposite.

To conclude I'll love to invite @usoro01, @basil20 and @vudeme123.... My dramatic friends esp. the one with a 20 on his username..... Anyways trust me they are fun.
