“Steemit Engagement Challenge, S9w3: What is a woman?”

Good day, steemladies, thanks for hosting this lovely contest. You've probably all heard the proverb, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”. This means, a mother has a great power that can be changed the world with their hands. As a such proud woman and mother, I eagerly enter this contest.

What does the word "Woman" mean to you?

Woman is the creative force of the universe in almost all its expressions. Life begins in her womb and it is in her guiding hands and tender care that it finds expression.

The reach of her arms can provide succor to many at once and just one hug from her could heal everything from a broken knee to a broken heart.

She works incredibly hard, often putting in more hours than there are in a day, yet still manages to look good. She effortlessly juggles several responsibilities at once, including mother, wife, daughter, friend, and counselor.

She performs two full-time jobs—one at their workplace, the other at her home. She is able to multitask while keeping one hand baking bread, one ear alert for any baby cries, one ear on the phone, one eye on the television, one eye on the soup boiling on the stove, and one ear alert at all times. Without a doubt, she is a goddess, nothing less.

She guides her kids and encourages them to keep focused on their goals; when they succeed, she stands in their shadows and glory in the brightness of their success.

Do you think that women are born only to be housewives?

No, not at all. In the past, women have usually served as the main caregivers. They consider as they made only to spread love and care. They also possess key qualities that make them excellent wives and mothers. Women were once prevented from attending school or working, and they were frequently made to stay at home.

A lot has changed since women realized that a world with working women is possible. Today, the number of women working in funded industries is rising. Women are gradually taking over the whole labor force. Currently, 70 percent of women who are 16 or older are employed. I can confirm that women are actually deserving of equality with men. They can succeed in raising their children, showing them affection, and succeed at their jobs. They are more adept at managing their families and the workplace than males are.

In Sri Lanka, Mrs. Sirimavo Banaranaike was the first prime minister of the world. When she was ruling our country, our country brighten international level. I can disprove the argument that women are only suitable for domestic work by demonstrating how admirably she ran our country.

What is the role of a woman in your society?

The role of women in our society has been changing rapidly in recent years. In my country, women have been granted equal rights to men. They have been able to participate in all aspects of the society. In societies, they are given key roles equal to men.

Who are the most important women in your life?

My mum was without a doubt the most significant person in my life. She balanced her work as a government teacher and our family. My mother never demanded similar rights from men, she showed us all the leadership qualities equal to men. She managed thousands of children in addition to just her own. Thanks to my mother's guidance, many people are successful today. Her kindness, classroom management abilities, and familiarity with her own family enrich our learning.
