How are you all, hope you are all well. Alhamdulillah, I am fine too. The steem for ladies community has organized a great engagement challenge for the first week. The theme of the engagement challenge is sec16w1: “It is Women's Day!”. I am participating in this challenge today with great interest. So let's get started.
Women's Day is a special day on which every woman in the world is respected. This day is mainly celebrated to show respect to women by removing gender discrimination and to convey the message of equal rights. I have learned from information from various social media that this The day first began in 1908 when about 15,000 women in the city of New York protested in the streets to reduce their working hours and increase their wages. Since then, the idea of officially celebrating Women's Day began. About a year later, Women's Day in America was announced by a socialist party. However, since then, various This day is being celebrated in different countries of the world. This day is also celebrated very beautifully in our Bangladesh. Our government of Bangladesh does various activities for women.

Women's day is celebrated on 8th March every year. There is a woman's hand in the progress of every human being. It is said that the woman who loves, she also ties her hair, this quality is only in the woman. It is completely hidden in the woman. Through the woman, creation is being inspired in the world. That is, a child is born through a woman. Therefore, in Islam, women are shown three times more respect than boys.
In addition, patience, tolerance, and other virtues are among the virtues. However, the government of our country has given equal rights to children and is doing various things to implement it. However, there are still many countries in the world. There are places where women are not allowed to move freely. For example, since the arrival of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, women have been banned from higher education, jobs, and the hijab has been ordered to go outside. Also, watching the news on TV or YouTube shows that in many countries women are subjected to inhuman torture and disrespect. Which makes me very sad to see. I feel very proud that I am born in Bangladesh and here women are very respected.

In earlier days there was a difference between boys and girls. But nowadays it is no longer seen that boys and girls have been given equal rights but still many countries are prejudiced and girls are lagging behind boys. But I think if girls are treated equally with boys then surely girls can progress much faster than boys. Nowadays, girls are flourishing by being involved in various outside activities like boys besides managing the house. In the digital age, girls are also playing a great role in information technology. Girls are the mother race, so everyone should respect girls and give them back their due rights. Girls deserve the same rights as boys.

If given, then that country or nation can gain a lot of progress, otherwise the country will lag behind other developed countries. At present, along with boys, girls are giving their best performance in terms of work, as well as conquering the world, even on the moon or in space. Finally I as a girl salute all the girls of the world for their intelligence and their virtue.

In the early days, women are not allowed to speak, they are often shut up in important matters but unfortunately, we still find that in some families today even when women has risen to fight for their right, to end gender inequality and discrimination. I am glad at the level the women are really driving this, I hope we get there someday. Success to you!

Its inspiring to see your appreciation for the progress and respect women receive in Bangladesh. To celebrate International Women's Day we must first know about International Women's Day and how it came about. Just as women's hearts are soft and patient, they also know how to fight hard and sacrifice when necessary. Yes, in our country, besides the government, various organizations are working with women. Thank you very much for a nice comment.
Happy Women's Day!
Gender inequality is a very common phenomenon in the world. If you look at the history you will understand how neglected women were and it is still seen in different countries of the world. You are right, women are respected in Bangladesh and gradually women are expanding their range. Many organizations are working to establish women's rights, but if every person in the society gives the respect women deserve, it would be easier for women to move forward.
Thank you very much dear sister for spending your free time to read my post and comment meaningfully. Happy Women's Day to you too.

Women's Day is all about showing respect and equality for women around the world. I learned that it started in 1908 when women in New York protested for better working conditions. Since then, it has become a global celebration, however for me I believe everyday is women's day.
I can see that in Bangladesh, the government does many activities to support women's rights. It's amazing how women play a crucial role in the progress of humanity. Islam also emphasizes respect for women. It's great to see that equal rights are being promoted by the government. Let's continue to honor and empower women every day.
Yes friend the government has taken various initiatives for women in Bangladesh besides various private organizations are working for the development of women. I am really happy friend that you read my post.
