RE: Choices! What will it be? #73

Genetics is a very deep topic in itself. You have written about it well. It has both benefits and drawbacks.

I never delved into it deeply. But a few months ago, a child was born in a family after a cousin marriage, and the child had some physical problems. When they got a checkup done, the doctor said that it's because of the cousin marriage, and then the complication led to the divorce (meaning the boy divorced his wife saying that if one child is like this, then others will be born with defects too).

I feel that somewhere this is a matter of trust. Even though medical science has advanced so much that many treatments are possible, yet people still live with old thinking.

meaning the boy divorced his wife.

So heartbreaking, only if they had done some tests before their wedding rather than ruining their life now.

In my family, we also have a cousin marriage and their two children have died due to cancer of white blood cells in a matter of two months after their delivery.

They also have two healthy babies but he never considered to divorce her.

It's a matter of loyalty also.

Thank you Rashid for your visit:)

You are weclome :-)

Your point is valid. If some tests are done before marrying within the family, then many problems can be avoided later on. Because nowadays, the value of relationships is decreasing, and small issues lead to breakups.
Thanks for the nice and insightful responce to my comment.

My pleasure;)

You're right, we need more meaningful relations instead of shallow ones🙌
