Okay, I was a bad mother.
I let my kids wait for the tooth fairy, keeping them good for days on end. I would tell them that if they are naughty, the tooth fairy will not come. Behold, that night she didn't come.
The next day, the same story. Little do I need to tell you that I had very good children. Well, up until a certain age. (•ิ‿•ิ)
