Choices! What will it be? #51

I am @owulama and I am delighted to take part in this contest titled "choices! What will it be? #51.

I want to also appreciate this community"steem4ladies" for organizing such a wonderful and awesome contest. All your efforts put together shall be greatly rewarded in Jesus name (Amen).

I will be writing on what I love about life, specifically the choices we make in life.

There are a lot of aspects of our life that we make choices everyday, but I will be focusing on just three out of the numerous aspects.

The three aspects I will be talking on is:

1. Choice on whether to serve God or not!
2. Choice on who to marry?
3. Choice about our career?

Firstly I will love to share with us the little I know about what life means.

Life is a free and special gift that has been given to us by our creator (GOD) and it's also a beautiful thing that everyone wants or desires to live it.

Life consist of performing functions such as eating, metabolizing, excreting, breathing, moving, growing, reproducing, and responding to external stimuli this are all part of life.

Life is something that will need to live it with caution, because irrespective of the way we choose to live our lives, someday somehow we will definitely give account of it.

Another thing I love about life is that God has given us right to live it the way you want to live it.

Therefore the first choice I will be talking on is:

Choice on whether to serve God or not!

God is so gracious and marvelous that he gave us life for free without us paying a dime for it, and also gave us the right to life it the way we want to.

Irrespective of your religion be it Christianity, Islamic or any religion that you are, deciding to live according to the commandments of that religion is one of the choices we make in life.

We are not forced or rather can't be forced to obey the commandments of our respectives religion. It is a choice that we need to Make individually.

There are a lot of people in different religion across the world that has decided not to obey or live according to the instructions or commandments of their religion. That's their choice!!

And there are also alot of people in different religion across the world that are adhering to, striving to, or are living according to the commandments or instructions of their religion. That is also their choice as well.

But it's better and advisable that we worship the God we are serving genuinely, adhere to all our religion instructions and commandments faithfully. Cause irrespective of our choice on whether to serve God or not, we'll definitely be judged and rewards will also be given to each and everyone of us.

So I am on the opinion that we choose to worship the God we are serving faithfully.

The second choice that we make in life that I will be talking on is:

Choice on who to marry?

Marriage is the coming together of a man and a woman or two adult who have decided to live together, grow together, give birth and raise children together and also to start up a family together.

Marriage is also a beautiful and an amazing thing to do in life. No wonder the Bible says he who finds a wife has find a good thing and obtain favor from the lord.

Marriage is also a crucial choice we make in life, as the kind of marriage one have has great impact in his or her life. It can be either positive or negative depending on the kind of partner you choose to marry or the kind of marriage you are having.

You have the right to choose who you can get married to, that's another right God has given us.

Though there alot of cases that I have seen people been forced to get married to people they don't want to, but then decision on who to get married to is supposed to be by choice and not by force!

He (GOD) gave us the right to choose who to marry, but we don't have the right to choose who are parents will be or sibling will be.

So since we have the right to decide on who to marry, we better make that decision RIGHT.

Because once you are married, you can hardly change that. So let's choose the best out of all the best options we have so we can have our dreamed marriages.

I pray God gives us the Grace to marry rightly, that's marrying the rightful person/ partner ijn (AMEN).

Lastly, on my post today the last choice we make in life that I will be talking on is:

Choice about our career?

Who you want to become in life is also a choice that we make in life that we can't escape, except may be you don't have the plan of becoming successful in life.

In the choice of our career, we expected to make that decision carefully.

Making decisions on what you want to become in life should be inspired by what you love doing, what you can do best and what you have so much pleasure in doing.

You can be guided and councled on what you should become in life, but then the choice should be made by you.

I have seen alot of cases or instances whereby parents or guardians forced their children in choosing the career that the don't want, because of some reasons.

But you see the children not ending up doing well in that career, giving out their best or even being fulfilled in it.

You cannot do well or even give out your best in any career if it's not initiated by you. So let's ensure we choose our career ourselves.

So if you're a parent or guardian reading through my post, I will plead with you that you allow you children decide on what they want to become in life, because it's a choice that they need to make by themselves.

The least you can do for them is to council and guide them to choose rightly and not to force to go study or do what they won't be fulfilled in.

You will find fulfillment in what you have chosen to become by yourself not in what someone else have chosen for you to become.
