Why is it important for a woman to be independent? |

In today's time, it is very important for women to become self-reliant. When a woman takes care of her own expenses, then no member of the family insults her, which increases her confidence. There is a glow in her. Physical beauty is God's gift, but With mental beauty, she can make herself beautiful. She does not remain just a shadow of her husband. She has her own existence. She has a name of her own. For example Mrs. Khanna ,Mrs. Goyal. If a woman does not know how to earn, then none of her wishes can be fulfilled. Whatever her husband wants, he does. That is why it is very important for a woman to become independent.
Do you think that if a woman becomes self-dependent, will her life be better? |

Definitely if a woman is earning money then her life will be good. Earning money less or more is different thing. It depends on her skill but in family she does not settles with mental torture and live her life freely in home no doubt.
What does it mean to be self-dependent that a woman will not pay attention to her family? |

It is not that the woman who stays at home cannot takes care of her family well. In today's time many women like teacher, doctor, shopkeeper earn money and also take good care of their family. The quality of management within women is natural. That's why women don't have to be taught how to manage. She manages home and outside well. In my thinking, when a woman earns money, she takes care of her home better because she has money power in her hands. This solves a lot of problems because they are superwoman.
What are the qualities a woman should have to become self dependent? |

Making your decision by yourself and having the courage to follow it. Women must know to fight for themselves and being able to express what they say. She must have the power to say NO. Trusting yourself .Paying yourself for your good deeds .Saving for yourself ,Planning a solo trip for yourself .If all these qualities are inside a woman no one can stop her from being self dependent.

A woman must be independent!
It is a must to prepare you for life.
I know of plenty of women whose partners passed away, and with them not knowing how to be independent, they struggled a lot to survive, not money-wise but with every day tasks on which they were totally dependent on their partner.

Yes @patjewell I have a lot of them in my area. Some of them don't know where to start which is very bad.
It makes me so sad to hear this...
Churches should have support groups for women that has to go throw this.
