In the darkness of the high tech office, Mr Abdullah was sitting on his power chair, his head was dropped on his hands. He was breathless, like to have no intention of waking up for the next hundred years. A creaking sound of the door arose in the cold silence. Abdullah tried to raise his head, despite the heaviness which fell on him from last night. He saw two black polished shoes appear and then the voice of Mr Jackson (his personal assistant in this national lab) echoed.
What's the update? Jakson. Abdullah asked in a tired voice. No significant updates sir! People outside this office still have no control over themselves. Their movements are going to get worse with every passing minute. Some are still just zigzagging and many striking with the solid objects in the way. They don't know where to go or from where they are coming. We ceased all the traffic and blocked all the bridges. And it is nearly impossible to go in the city without our safety uniform. Jackson gave him all the necessary information.
Call Mr Ahmad! Abdullah ordered. A few minutes later, Mr Ahmmad (the chief scientist of the lab) arrived in the office. Ahmad do you figure out the reason behind this abnormal and absurd behavior? Fatigue was pouring from Abdullah's figure. Yes sir! And unfortunately, our lab is the reason for all this mess. Last Sunday we used some nuclear radiation in an experiment, accidentally a few workers were subjected to radiation and a mutation occurred in their genetic makeup. They lost control over their body. We referred them to hospital but a day later, all the people in hospital lost their conscious control.
This genetic mutation is spreading like a pandemic, because when an infected person touches the healthier one, he transmits the absorbed radiation to him which mutates their genes. And up to the recent date, almost one and half million people were affected. Mr Ahmad answered in detail. And what about cure? Abdullah asked rigidly. We are working on it sir! In a day or two, we will be in a position to treat the infectants. Ahmad said in a consoling tone.
In the meantime, Jackson had a conversation on his ear piece(a two-way radio). While pressing some button to disconnect talk on the earpiece he said
" Situation is going out of control, many people started to jump nearly 40 or 50 feet high. It is like they are out of gravitational influence. They easily cross the average size buildings but are badly hit into skyscrapers. A doc from the national hospital wrote in his report that the bodies of such people emit a certain magnetic field which not only disabled the vestibular system but cancels the effect of gravitational force as well. The doc also narrated about the increasing effect of this magnetic field around infected bodies.
Tomorrow morning you will bring the solution on board, because you, Mr chief scientist, are responsible for this negligence. Otherwise, you will be compelled out in the city without any safety kit. After giving this warning to Mr Ahmad, Abdullah gave some instructions to Mr Jackson about the determination of exact numbers of infected people and the pandemic situation.
On the third day of this meeting, all the officials of the national lab gathered in Mr Abdullah's office. They congratulated each other for discovering a successful cure to normalize the mutant gene. They treated almost half a million people with two different radiations and the results were satisfactory.
Amongst the cheerful voices in the huge office, Mr Jackson had a conversation on his ear piece. With every passing moment, his face expression turned worse. He ended his conversation and tried to reach Mr Abdullah, who was praising "the efforts of Mr Ahmad". Sir! Bad news, I had a call from the Medical Director of the national hospital. He told they found another mutation in genes of those who were treated with the radiation. The smile on Abdullah's face was frozen. He said, now thousands of people in the city have started digging the earth. They are strongly attracted to the core of the planet and only God knows why...?
Mr Abdullah turned to Mr Ahmad along with his frozen expression... Sir, I can handle it.... Sir, I know how to change the radiation to fix this problem. I can give the ... solution in a day sir!....sir.... You asshole... Abdullah moves towards Ahmed with his menacing expression.

It reminds me of Chernobyl disaster in 1986 when blasts were seen in their test nuclear reactor.
The emission of gamma radiations were so intense that they had to confine the area. They say that area will be inheritable after thousands of years.
It was indeed a pandemic and caused mutation, chemicals and radiations are prime suspects of this.
On the other hand, nuclear bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki but those cities are inheritable.
And they didn't actually see nuclear mutation there, it's a ground reality.
Now the question arises why Chernobyl explosion caused mutation though both cases had nuclear blast?
The answer is Intensity.
Chernobyl disaster emitted radiations 400 times more than Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Also the blast was on the ground, while later had in the air so much the ground is livable.
This is how Mr. Oppenheimer caused death and destruction and later was apologetic.
oh dude you start a damn serious discussion. The Chernobyl disaster was terrible. a real exposure to how annihilation was created by man himself... Oppenheimer was right, may be Newton know the results, that's why he was considered against such projects...... When I first read about the chemistry behind Chernobyl, I was shocked. A little flaw in design make it the worst disaster in nuclear history...... Thank God they managed to prevent the third explosion....well ! The first time I read a comparison about the intensity difference between "little boy ,fat man" and Chernobyl. I know a little about it, but "the reason behind it" you penned was the first time read.
He didn't know his product could cause this much destruction. Later he tried to object it but was thrown out of his work place.
Now I have realised what nuclear war actually is and we shouldn't mock our army for just keeping our nuclear bombs as decoration pieces.

Amazing story and its subject, it felt like I was watching a Hollywood movie in 3D, rather when a man was jumping 40 meters high, his legs hit my forehead. But then the same thing happened which happens while watching 3D, it was an illusion. It was a Mayazal created by you. By affecting 1.5 million people with radio radiation, you have left behind even Hollywood directors. Their thoughts are also engaged in destroying the humans of this earth.
That was fun friend, you should become a script writer. I only write the story, you have written the whole scene. Which the readers will see.
