A housewife is a married woman who's main duty is caring for her family and the domestic work at home and
in the past years, her duties included laundry,cleaning the home,cooking of food for her family, caring for their children, and other household task.
In the modern world the idea of being a housewife has developed very new definition. Women who are married and have children also have full-time job outside the home and all domestic chores are to be shared among members of the household.

The term wife and Housewife are often used interchangeably but they really have slightly meaning. A wife is simply used to describe a woman who is married, while on the other hand the term housewife describes a woman who has specific roles and responsibilities within her home.
A wife will go to work and get a housemaid to take care of house chores. While a housewife stays at home to care for the chores.
A wife can hire a cook to do the cooking but a housewife cooks by herself.
Thumbs up to housewives and a standing ovation to women who care for the task at home and also has a job. That is the real superwoman.

You have the whole opportunity to watch your child grow from day to day. From their first step to their first word and first mistake you are there as a mother, creating a bond and helping then out each time they need you. Molding the child into what you want then to be
Freedom and Flexibility
A housewife is self-employed doing the work in her own non-profit organization. While housewives do not receive any salary for their work, their contribution is vital to the well-being of the family and as a boss, , she is free to do the work she assigned herself any time with no dateline. Being a housewife is a real occupation and if the household is large, she may employ additional hands.
Cuts Some Expenses
A housewife helps cut some of the expenses the family would have made if she was not at home like paying for daycare services, her nourishing food prevents spending on junk food, cleaning bills and services like cooks are not needed.
Promote Happy Marriages
The housewife directs all her energy towards making the home a pleasant and nurturing environment. There is less distraction with a better rate of fidelity in a house wife setting. Housewives are more satisfied in their work which makes them happy. Happy wife happy home.

Feeling trapped at home
Being a housewife is a very demanding and isolating role. You may have to spend long hours alone at home cleaning the same spot everyday which can feel lonely and creat boredom.
Find time to connect with family or friends. Call have a conversation while cleaning and doing other tasks.
Family and person finance
With a housewife the family has only one source of income and everyone's need is cared for by this same person. The economy is hard and the wife will need some things she may want to buy without asking which forces some housewives to take up part time jobs.
A different Social life
Housewives often make new friends mostly other housewives and such company most of the time will result in new behavior and new focus. This may lead to idle talks and gossiping
With plenty of time and freedom
Raising overly dependent kids
When a mum is always available, kids can become over dependent on the mum such that they can't make decisions on their own.

Being a housewife is not easy. It's always advisable to have something doing so you don't have to depend on your spouse for everything.

What I have learned from being a housewife is the fact that our duties never end. You've just made one meal, and then you start thinking about what you are going to make for the next meal.
Or you've just finished the dishes, and when you go back into the kitchen, the next pile is waiting on you.
