The diary of a man

Hello community, it's a pleasure to participate in the contest. My life currently is a routine without many changes, since I find myself without a job and with a knee injury that prevents me from carrying out work. I feel trapped in a bunker, with the bare minimum to survive but unable to get out of this situation. I have gone through a wide range of emotions and it is really frustrating, but I thank God for having a family that cares about me and has not abandoned me despite not being the household's breadwinner. This, for a man used to being the provider, is a hard blow.

I hope this situation changes soon. The relationship with my wife has not been easy because naturally respect is lost towards someone who does not contribute money. This has led us to many very difficult moments. Everything improves when we manage to clearly express our feelings and openly talk about what we can no longer tolerate. Fortunately, she ended up understanding, which was a relief. I must congratulate her for being a strong woman who does not give up and does everything possible to help me, something very valuable.

In any case, I look for ways to generate income day by day, in various ways. I have been able to contribute something, although not a steady income, but enough to cover pressing expenses at the right moments. The important thing is to maintain a stable and fruitful relationship, because when difficulties arise is when true love is put to the test. If there were always problems in the couple, it will be impossible to overcome them when new challenges arrive.

In fact, I would recommend talking openly before problems occur, raising questions like what would you do if I get sick, to anticipate the difficult feelings that can arise in those moments. For one believes that they will always be fine, but that is deceiving oneself and not recognizing human reality. Family is the center of life, so we must do everything possible to care for it.

Love is something unknown, we do not know how deep it can be. Only many times when it is lost, one becomes aware that you are not everywhere. They make you believe that happiness is out there and it may be, but many times it is a lost life.
