What is greenhouse?

Friends I have chose greenhouse word because I found it very interesting and want to talk about it. I still remembered that when I was in school, college I used to study several topics about the greenhouse and its effects on our earth. So normally a house which is made of glass of green color is known as greenhouse and it has a crucial role in planting. Yes the people grow plants inside of that greenhouse under the controlled environment.

When the help of that greenhouse they get control the temperature, soil nutrients and oxygen in order to get desired trails in plants. But on the other hand the greenhouse is also a natural process which is effecting our environment and climate very badly. This is because when the rays of sun enter in that greenhouse they didn't get a way to escape back and remain inside it which results in increase in the temperature.

These rays are typically are mixture of different gases such as methane gas, carbon dioxide, oxygen, ozone and nitrous oxides etc. When all these gases are combined together they are known as greenhouse effect. There we can compare that greenhouse with our environment because the same phenomenon happens with it due to which several environmental issues are raising everyday.

Causes of Greenhouse effect

Since the past few years the greenhouse effect is increasing massively and all it happening due to human activities. This is because many of Humans activities are the main reason of an increase in the climate changes which is basically happening due to Greenhouse effects. Also due to human activities the exposure of greenhouse effect creating gases has been increased. So let's have a look at these things which are causing greenhouse effect.

1. Carbon Dioxide ( CO2):

• The numerous human activities such as burning of fossil fuels, smoke of traffic, smoke of factories and burning of coal increase the emission of carbon dioxide in the environment which increase the greenhouse.

2. Methane Gas (CH4):

• The methane emissions is another cause of Increase in greenhouse effect. In this process several human activities are involved such as livestock, farming, land fills and cutting of trees. All these process boost the methane emissions atmosphere.

3. Nitrous oxides (N2O)

• It is another cause of Increase in the intensity of greenhouse effect and temperature. The activities like burning of biomass, combustion and the burning of fossil fuels contribute to increase the greenhouse effect.

Apart from this, nowadays man is cutting crops at a very fast rate trees are also being cut down and fertile land is being converted into colonies and factories are establishing in that places which is causing serious changes to the environment. In the future, if all this continues it will become difficult or if even impossible for humans and other animals to live on earth.

Effects of greenhouse on humans and environment

The increase in the intensity of greenhouse is a real threat for humans and other living organisms. And according to me the recent heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and floods in Dubai is all due to the global warming and greenhouse effect. And now you can see the condition of Dubai it is more than its worst because the roads are looking like rivers, house, shops are collapsed and the water is everywhere. Anyway let's have a look at some effect of greenhouse on our health.

1. Climate Change:

• The main effect of greenhouse is changes in climate such as change in weather patterns, too much heat in summer, too much cold in winter, floods, heavy rainfall, and heat waves. All these things are happening due to greenhouse effect which is affecting the humans very badly.

2. Disrupt The Ecosystems:

• The disruption of ecosystem of different species is also caused by the greenhouse effect and due to which many of species are extinct and many of them are near to extinction. Because the sudden changes in climate destroy their life styles which results in their death.

3. Impact on health;

• The greenhouse also impacting our lives very badly because it cause pollution and then pollution causes serious health issues including the respiratory disorders, waterborne diseases, malaria, typhoid and diarrhea as well.

Conclusion

In conclusion there is a strong need to understand the harmful effects of greenhouse on humans, environment and other living organisms. Because if we keep on deteriorating our environment in the same way then it is possible that in near future we will be unable to live on earth. As due to global warming it will become difficult for us to survive in extreme environments changes. So we should promote the trees plantation and avoid all the things which Increase the greenhouse effect and global warming.
