Well any tribe token that has a good use cases will definitely grow with steem. They should try to create independent markets for themselves.

If the price of steem will grow, their price will grow as well. They are related to steem after all.
It is not a direct relationship. Sometimes, it follows an inverse relationship;, that is, the higher the steem price, the lower the exchange rate of the tokens to steem, especially those tokens that do not have usecases outside of steem
