Does the Royal Mint vary the price according to varying gold/silver prices or is the price so inflated above the metal value that they are not bothered?
Silver is £13.50 an oz (approx), give or take for fluctuations.
The 1oz coin is £90, so a £70+ mark up. The 1/2oz coin is £60 and is really bad value for money.
Thanks for the info. It looks you really need to know what you are doing before investing in these sorts of coins.
