I saw a thread of skeptics about steemit's authenticity and i just couldn't blame those spreading this as it could be a form of ignorance or inexperience or the mere fact that people don't really understand how steemit works.
So I had to take my time out to try and make people being skeptical, really understand steemit and how it works. I am going to be explaining this to the best of my knowledge and I am open for a debate or correction if you think I am wrong.
Firstly, you need to understand that steemit is a social network that rewards you for posting, commenting and curating. Steemit pays in digital currency and this means the more you post, comment and upvote, the more you earn!
These are the three important digital currencies available in Steemit. I am going to be explaining the three and how you can build your account by earning them.
STEEM Think of steem as Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other CryptoCurrency that comes into mind. You can trade it on popular exchanges like Binance, Bitrex and others. It can be transferred between Steem power and Steem dollars.
STEEM POWER Abbreviated as SP. To me, this is the most preferable currency on steemit because the more SP you have, the more your earnings increase.
When you make a post, your reward is split into two automatically and 50% comes to SP to help build your network power. You can opt to receive 100% SP as it helps build your influence on steemit to earn more.
STEEM DOLLARS Abbreviated as SBD. Steem dollars has a 1:1 ratio with $1. You automatically get 50% of SBD as rewards on posts and can be transferred to Steem or SP.

You have to understand that if you are not engaging on people's posts neither are you creating your own contents, you can't grow in Steemit or keep earning.
You have to understand that this is not a get rich quick scheme as you have to build your SP and reputation to command the attention that will make you succeed exceedingly.
You can aswell purchase Steem from exchanges and power it up to build your steem power. That can help quicken your success on steemit.
