THE DIARY GAME: How I Spent the First Day Of April, Friday, 2022.

I was awoken by the fresh air which blew through the adjacent windows of my room. It was a cold air that had always made me cover myself with my sleeping wrapper. I could not sleep again as I checked the time and it was already past 6am. I sang praises to my creator who made me see another month, afterwards, I made a prayer of thanks to him and prayed for the month for myself, family and friends.

I quickly rushed through a written work which I needed to round up. It didn't take me less than two hours before I could finish it. I stepped out of the room to wash some of the dirty clothes which I had piled up because of my busy schedules over the week. My cousin who rented an apartment with me in the same building came around to check on me. We chatted while I washed. I was able to complete my washing in less than an hour. I went out and dried them after I had rinsed off the soap which where in them as a result of the detergent I used.

I came back to the room. At this time, I was already hungry so I warmed the small soup that was left in my pot and ate with the cassava flour I had already prepared the day before. When I was done eating, I came to the sitting room where I and my cousin chatted until later when his fiancee came. After a while, I was left alone, so I relaxed to have a nap. It wasn't too long they interrupted power, so I couldn't enjoy my sleep. I stepped out to meet my cousin at his place. It wasn't too long his fiancee was ready to go, so we accompanied her out to where she got a motorcycle to her place. After she left, we decided to stay outside and watch the street as we take some cool breeze.

We stayed and chatted outside until towards evening, a fight drama happened in one of the shops adjacent the shop we sat. It all started like a play but turned out to be a big fight that made people gathered. You would wanna know what caused the fight right? Let me tell you.

The occupant of the shop where the fight happened is a female tailor that sows clothes. She sew a different style for her customer who claimed it wasn't the exact style that she told her to sow. The tailor wanted her to accept the style she sowed because it was also beautiful. The owner of the material who gave her work wasn't pleased with the style so she came to collect her money for the material she gave to the tailor. Since both couldn't settle things amicably, they had to fight. Some other persons and I watched from afar until when we saw that things were going bad, people approached the scene from different sides to settle the matter. To cut the long story short, the children of the customer (owner of the material) were called to come and fight for there mom but people intervened and things didn't get further bad as the husband of the tailor came and settled the woman who came to collect her material (clothing item).
Everything was settled and everyone who gathered as a result of the fight left to their different places.

It was already evening, some minutes past 6pm, so my cousin and I strolled out to get roasted meet (SUYA), so we could have something to eat in the evening. We went and got Suya for ourselves. So I came home, got the dining set and I ate.

After I was done eating, I was a little tired and the weather was cold, so I went to the room and laid down. I chatted on WhatsApp and Facebook until I felt sleepy, so I dropped my phone and slept.

In conclusion, I didn't really go anywhere all through Friday. I spent the day around the place I live. It wasn't a bad day at all.
