The theme of this contest caught my attention. For 2 years, I have tried to announce steemit many times with my own efforts and methods. We have put a lot of effort into the development of Steemit and making it a popular platform. Steemit will reach wider audiences and will become the most used platform in the world, like other social media. These platforms are much more useful than other social media. The most important and beautiful feature is that it has a blockchain-based cryptocurrency. The thing that draws people's attention the most is that it carries the concept of 'coins'. so in fact, people can be easily distracted while promo steem.

• What methods did you use in promoting Steem (e.g word of mouth, social media, etc)

I did not have the opportunity to distribute any brochures on this subject. because every country or town has its own rules. Therefore, I did not promote brochures, posters, etc., as I know that it is risky to do so. But other than that, I did a lot of activities. Although I registered on Steemite in 2018, I started to be active in 2020. I have been using it actively for 2 years. During this time, I explained steemit to many acquaintances and people on social media, face to face, on the phone. I even explained how to register to the people who contacted me from the official instagram and twitter accounts of the steem women club.

• For days, I introduced Steemit to many users I know or do not know who contacted me from Turkey, where I am the manager and representative. In fact, I explained steemit to many users who are still voting and active. I am very happy for that. I have been instrumental in this for many people.

•There were very few Turkish users on steemit when I was active myself. I was one of the 5-10 people I knew. and few users were communicating with each other. I brought women together in the telegram channel I set up for my steem women club community. I helped them get active on steemit. Many users I support asked me to register their friends. In this way, we have registered many users both verbally and face-to-face.

Taking it even further, I organized video meetings between Turkish users, which have never been held. I made a video lecture with everyone who registered or wanted to be on steemit. First of all, we had video meetings with the majority of users in the steemit-turkey community a few times. I told you the information I got about steemit.

Then we made video calls with steem women club turkish women users first. I made them active. and I explained many times how they can register and what to do.

In this regard, using posters and brochures does not mean that steemit is better promoted. because your communication with people and your help with steemit is the best promotion. because that's how I believe I did it. i introduced steemit by helping and transferring more of my own knowledge to people. I made them curious by showing the changes in myself. and so I registered many users. we even went to help a family whose financial situation was very bad during the months I was doing 'charity events' as an example. Since it is a village, every event and situation is wondered by almost everyone. People who saw the brochures and bags I had asked me what I was doing. and I introduced Steemit to the village people in an unplanned period of time.
Here is the best one -PROMO STEEM- is a memory. They couldn't be active even though they registered because they didn't have internet :(

• How did people respond to your promotion efforts?

this is relative. for example people in this village people all wanted to write and register. but they couldn't log in to steemit due to internet house financial problems in the village. only a few people are active and continue to write. because of lack of phone, internet problem, work for daily life (agriculture, animal husbandry etc.) my effort was wasted because of these situations. but the impression they gave me was very good. Good results came from many other users that I registered and wanted to register. and I still give them motivation to talk and be active.

• What are the main challenges that hinder users from joining?

As I said before, if there is a situation that prevents users who are not very active, it is an environmental factor. People without the condition are more likely to be active but only if they have the opportunity.

This question has many answers. Frustration is the biggest obstacle for some users not signing up or being inactive. For example, some people will sign up for Steemite, but how many dollars do I earn per week? he asks. which these peopleIf you answer, it will be registered. This is an obstacle because you cannot give a clear answer to such questions. because they want to make a profit without effort. or they can leave the steemit when they hear that the votes are not guaranteed. Therefore, when telling people about steemit, it is necessary to be convincing and tell the whole truth.

• Suggest ways we can overcome challenges to Steem Promotion.

You are the best example yourself. Make people feel that you are doing a job/hobby and that you are very happy with it while you are talking in public or on the phone. Show that you are happy to spend time on Steemite rather than earning a lot. Show that you contribute to your personal development. To say for myself; I see it as a job because I have duties on steemit. so you can show that you make money by writing at home and that you enjoy doing it. in this way, the sense of curiosity in people will encourage them to register.

• If possible you, try hard to recruit one user and assist them to do their introduction post. This will also help you to score higher Take pictures with your recruit if any,

I would like to write many users, but I cannot write their names here. I can only show the last user I helped sign up and helped with achievement 1 quest. I helped him on telegram. Since he is a Turkish user, I explained some rules to him. I asked him to fill the user registration form. I told him to register with the communities.
