Introduction

While announcing the City Curator Project, we mentioned that there will be a reward scheme to go along with it. The rewards would go a long way to encourage SteemAlive members to support the program to the best of their circumstances. We are thrilled to announce this Reward initiative at this time. Also, we wish to say a hearty thank you to all SteemALive members that have supported the idea. More than 30 members have bought steem with fiat and sent to their respective city curator accounts. When we present the report for the first week tomorrow, we will be specific with numbers. But we are happily encourgraged by the massive demand for steem within the community to support the curator accounts.

Here is how we plan to reward outstanding performance in this project.

Liquid Steem Prize for Top 3 Most Powering Cities

Each week, after the savings are gathered and powered up, each city cordinator will present a report of their activity. Then from this report, we will make a summary and determine the top 3 cities that powered up the largest amount of steem. We will reward them with some Steem.

So for this first week which started from (31/5/2021) till tomorrow (5/6/2021) 12 noon local time, here are the prizes for top 3 most powering cities:

Liquid Steem Prize for Top 3 individuals that save the most Steem

While we expect at least 5 steem savings from participants, we can grow fastest if we send as much steem as we can save for at least 1 year. So at the end of each month, we will draw up a list of all the participants and how much steem they sent to the city curator account across 4 weeks. The top 3 individuals with the most savings would be rewarded with some liquid Steem.

For this month of June 2021, here is the prize we will give out at the end of the month to top 3 performers:

Steem Power Delegation to Most Powering Cities July 2021

From the first week of July, we will send SP delegation prizes to the most powering Cities weekly. There will also be top 3 prizes. We hope to have at least 3500 Sp to share to the top 3 powering cities weekly. Right now, we cannot do it because @steemalive is delegating 5000 SP and @focusnow 3000SP to winners of Power2Soar contest of May 2021. The delegations would expire on 20th June 2021. Then we can make some available for this prize. Each delegation would last 1 week.

Conclusion

We are really confident that these rewards would motivate participants to do more and support the City curation project. We are eager to build a self-sustaining community that will be capable of supporting its members in the longer run. Together we can achieve more. Thank you everyone.
