LID reporting Project goes on a 1 week break to resume on 1/8/2021
Introduction
Goodmorning reporters, how are you today. Like we already told you, our last LID reporting was yesterday being Friday 23/7/2021. After such a long time of none-stop reporting daily, we are due for a break. So we will be taking a short 1-week break from today to resume on 1st August 2021. We really appreciate all the great work you do bring in those reports. We hope you will use this 7 days to recharge your batteries and get ready for a brand new LID project from August
What will we use the break to Achieve?
From time to time, SteemAlive takes a step back and analyze its projects. When we do, we take note of strengths and weaknesses. Then we work to reduce, if not eliminate - the weakenesses. LID has been such an amazing journey of daily situtation updates. We enjoy the project and have recorded a lot of successes. However, it is time to go back and see how to work on the areas that we would like to improve. So during this 1-week break, here are some things we will accomplish:
1. Outstanding LID prizes: We will use this 1 week period to pay up all the LID prizes for the days we have not sent. We thank our reporters for remaining patient with us.
2. Verify LID reporters and Label them We will verify all our LID reporters and give them a tag. This is necessary because we have seen too many new users join the LID project without understanding how it works. As a result, they produce poor reports. When they do not get prizes for not following the rules, they complain. So having a verification system ensures that every reporter understands how to make a quality report before they are allowed to join the project.
3. Make Changes to the LID Project: We are going to tweek the LID project itself. We will make some changes. Maybe we will add some new features and remove others to ensure the project maintains a high standard.
Conclusion
LID is designed after live news reporters that capture events and report on the spot. You probably enjoy watching or listening to such live reports. You see why the LID project is an interesting one. LID has encouraged our members to learn and improve certain aspects of their skills as content creators. We are sure this project has come to stay. The changes we are bring will surely make LID more interesting and rewarding.
We appreciate the Steemit team for supporting this project ever since it started. We also greatly appreciate all the reporters who have shown exceptional commitment to them project. We welcome suggestions on features of the project you would like us to adjust or entirely new features we could add.

Communication is major to a healthy relationship between steemalive and steemians. The reasons for the one week break are great. The break gives steemalive the opportunity to update Lid reporters rewards, because that reward is a great motivation. We welcome any adjustment (s) to make it interesting, as it has always been. I suggest we reporters should be more elaborate on our reports.GOD bless @focusnow and his great ABA team. @samuel20 and @ninapenda.
This is a very good plan and so interesting, by doing this it will encourage us in all aspects, mostly the labelling I love the idea, I pray God should add more strength to this

Ok, await patiently for the changes
The Lid Report has been fabulous and continuing in that form will only improve the Lid reporters and some funny aspect because there are sometimes you want to take photo and people just imagine or think you are mad but steem is for abnormal people. My suggestion is that the reward should not take time to reach the lid reporters and which is one of the changes that we will see come next month. God bless @steemalive and the man @focusnow behind the vision because is not easy to come up with Lid Report every and keep track of people that took part in it.

This is a good one expecially the labelling aspect I welcome the idea... By so doing the quality of reporting will surely increase..
@steemalive thank you for this update. Change is constant. We hope this change brings lots of goodies.
My suggestion is that first lid report of each day should be time bound. It Should come before 10 or noon.
Secondly, the 3 best Spotlights of the day (which we reporters nominate) should be somehow rewarded, maybe with additional 0.5 steem. This will help motivate people to report great spotlights.
