MY DAIRY GAME AND HOW I SPENT MY DAY// 10% SUPPORT GOES TO STEEMALIVE BY @seleomoruyi97

I'm sele omoruyi and here to discuss how I spent my day. What I'm about to discuss all happened in the capital city of Akwaibom which is UyO here in Nigeria.

This morning when I woke up, i went to have my bath and after that I went for my maths tutorial class of which was very interesting and at the same time very strenuous because it involves critical thinking. The tutor taught us 'Derivative Of Functions'. It wasn't an easy one because it's not something I've done before in the past but I scaled through. While the class was drawing to an end, the tutor asked some random questions of which few students like me could answer and that made him give us an assignment of which we are to submit the next day. The class was an interactive class of which I enjoyed myself and acquired knowledge of how to solve mathematics using Chain Rule(function of function), Quotient Function and Product Function. The class came to an end at exactly 12pm after he gave us an assignment.

After my maths lectures, hunger set in hence I and my friends decided to go to the market on our way home to get something to prepare and eat but before then we were contemplating on what and what to buy cos we all had different choices of which the money we had wasn't enough hence we had to look into our pockets and amount to what we can afford and later realized we had no option than to buy and prepare Melon Soup popularly known as Egusi Soup. We embarked on our journey by walking to the market which is about 5km away from my school. On getting to the market, I noticed weather was cool and dry just like harmattan which I like so much because it prevent one from sweating easily, but it also has a disadvantage as well. On getting to the market, we made a list of what we're to buy and approached the vendor selling what we needed. We bought Crayfish, Periwinkle, Smoked Fish popularly known as 'eja kika' in Yoruba land, we also bought Melon like I said earlier which is known as 'Egusi', we also bought cow skin which is known as Pomo, we bought Vegetables, Cassava flour popularly known as 'Garri', Red oil or Palm oil as the case may be, spices and salt were also added to the list and lastly we bought fufu.

. After buying all the listed food, we headed home immediately to go prepare the food as by that time hunger has already set in. We got home few minutes after we left the market as the market isn't far from our residence. On getting home, we brought out the plates and decided to wash off the sand of the periwinkle. Another of my friend was cutting the vegetables evenly while I was cutting the cow skin and washing the fishes as I take out the bones. After doing all of that, we seasoned the fishes and cowskin as we put them in a pot as we marinate them and allow them to steam for few mins. After doing that, we put the Egusi inside the marinated fishes and cowskin and stir for some mins and later added red oil to it while we continue to stir before putting the vegetables to complete the final stage while still stirring, we added extra red oil to balance the taste and colour before putting the Periwinkle inside the soup. We waited patiently for few minutes before we took the pot off the fire. We immediately boiled water in a kettle so we could prepare what we call Garri. After few minutes the water was boiling already hence I poured the water into a bowl full of garri and started stirring evenly till. Too much water isn't to be added to avoid making it watery. We dished the food as soon as we're done cooking and we had the best meal for the day as we ate to our fullest. There's nothing like eating what you cook with your own hands. After eating, I washed the plates and gisted with my friends till we all got exhausted and eventually slept off.

I woke up late in the evening and decided to go sit outside since I was so hot inside and I was all sweaty. I relaxed outside a little before nature decided to give me a call I couldn't ignore and I went to the toilet to have a good shit. I felt to relaxed and calm after shitting out my poop. I went to have my bath, changed my clothes and headed immediately to go watch football as it was Champions League Night. My favorite football club which is Chelsea Football Club played earlier and came out with a draw what landed my tem at the second position since it's the last group stage match. After the initial first match, the next one would commence thirty minutes after so I decided to play video game with a friend to wide away time. It was a nice game for me as I trashed my friend twice without conceding a goal and also used that opportunity to charge my phone as my battery was running low. I later realized the second match has started without me starting with it hence immediately I left the game house and headed straight to a viewing center closer to my house.

On getting there, Immediately I heard people shouting goal hence I ran upstairs and saw Manchester United has scored a goal in the 9th minutes of the match, what an early goal for them but eventually the match ended a draw. I was so happy Manchester United couldn't defeat Young Boys cos I really hate Manchester United with passion. I'm also happy FC Barcelona lost the game against Bayern Munich cos i also hate FC Barcelona with passion. At least the two teams I hate the most didn't win today and one of them which is FC Barcelona was third on their group table and was demoted to play in the Europa League. After the match, I left immediately and headed home and gisted with friend while on the road about the match and other random stuffs.

In general, I really had a nice time today though it wasn't the best but it's worth it. Going to the market and cooking my local food was adventurous and interesting.
