Hello Friends,

I greet you all according to your time, this is definitely something worth writing about because family is everything to me. I thank the steemalive community for organizing such a contest which is aimed at telling the lovely steemians about your family.
It is true that a family is a group/groups of people that are connected by blood or marriage, but to me it goes beyond that, as my family is my life and my everything.

I have a lovely family, and for this post I will be writing about my nuclear family. So read on as I tell you about my wonderful family.

My Family Members, Where They Live and Their Occupations

To God be the glory, I am the first child of my parents in a family of 4 children. My mum and dad are happily married for over 25 years now, and so far they have gotten 2 boys and 2 girls.
We all from Bayelsa state but we currently live at 245 Recce Battalion Ikom of Cross River State where my dad is serving his nation as a soldier in the Nigerian Army. We have gone through alot together as a family by moving from one location to the other as the job demands.

So I will want you to meet all six(6) members of my family, as I individually introduce them to you based on seniority.

My Family Members And Some Special Qualities I like About Them

Meet My Dad

Of course he is the Man of the house, SSGT Amaran Erepamo, a hard-working and dedicated soldier who have served the Nigerian Army for over 26 years now.

He has gone for several battles within and outside the country, and by God's grace he has always returned back victorious. He is very loving because he takes his wife's and children well-being into consideration in everything he does. He has learnt loyalty and discipline from the nature of his job and as such he is very principled and he takes his rules very serious. I am proud of him and I love him so much in measures I can't explain.

Meet My Mum

The backbone of the family Mrs Edith Amaran Erepamo, a successful business woman who loves and take good care of her children as well as her husband. Despite being a serious business woman, she always create time to have fun chats with us, and teach us things we ought to know about life.

We are not always with Daddy because he is always on outside operations, but mum got our backs as she performs the duty of both a father and a mother. Kudos to all the military wives out there, you are really the best.
I really love my mum alot for taking good care of the whole family, it's really not easy.

Meet Me

By God's grace, the first child of the family who is trying his best to make his parents and siblings happy because they deserves the best. I am currently an HND undergraduate studying Computer Science at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede in Imo state. All I crave for is success and peace of mind, I want to give my family a better life.

I try to put my best into studying programming, so I can personally control what I am planning to do online in the nearest future.

Meet Prudent My Immediate Younger Sister

She's the second born of the family, always bringing that positive vibes to the house. She's always happy which is something I like about her, and most of the time she's always smiling even when working.
She loves watching movies alot, especially with someone with whom she would analyze/recap the movie with later. To me, she is actually the laziest dancer in the house and I always funfully reminds her of that just to make her a bit angry😅.

She's currently in her second year at the Bayelsa Medical University Amarata, Yenagoa LGA, where she's studying Pharmacy.

So far, she's been absolutely working hard to make mum and dad proud and I admire her ways.

Meet Promise My Younger Sister

Yeah, she's the third born of the family, and undoubtedly the smartest in the house. She's that serious type that puts all her efforts and time into what she does. In most cases, I would tell her to take things easy and have fun regularly. But no she won't, "that's really a bad advice from big bro" she would conclude🤣.
She's a nerd, who has remained the best in her classes for years now.

She's done with her O'level and has equally written JAMB this year, finishing with one of the best scores I have seen for a science student.
I really admire her pattern of living, and I know that she has a very bright future ahead.

Meet Philip My Younger Brother

Here is Philip the last born of the house, and no matter how old he grows, we still regard him as the baby of the house. He is the most stubborn and funniest member of the family. He doesn't take anything serious as he loves having fun and hanging out with friends.

Last borns are funny because they think they will always get anything they want by crying. In most cases, this mentality makes them seems very innocent, but trust me they are always the most troublesome.

When he was younger, he made me to fight with alot of people by entering into trouble and calling me for help😅. He is actually my favourite in the house.

He is currently writing his O'level exams and I know he has a bright and lovely future too.

Have I Ever Gotten Any Special Kind Of Help From A Family Member

I have gotten lots of help from family members in various occasions and ways, and they are all in my heart as I will forever be grateful to them. Nevertheless, if I am to point out a very special help I got from a family member, it will definitely be the guidance and discipline from my dad.
In today's world, they are things worth getting than money, especially knowledge, because it's what you have that would generate you the money you need in the nearest future. So it was this guidance and knowledge that my dad instilled in me when I was young that helped me alot as I grew.
When I was younger, I had no zeal of reading my books as I taught education was a very stressful and useless concept. All I loved was to play with friends, and be happy. Reading was sort of a boring thing for me as it deprived me of playing outside. But my dad disciplined me and guided me on the way I ought to go. I later discovered that it was lack of focus that made me confused, as I now realized what education could do for me as a person, and I worked towards it. This was really a great and priceless help to me and am forever grateful to my dad in my heart for this, although I have not told him how he helped me, or how grateful I am to him. Nevertheless, one day I will tell him how he gave me a special help even without him realizing it.

Funniest Family Member

The funniest member of my family is definitely Philip the last born of the family. For the fact that he behaves as if he is innocent whenever he causes trouble would make anyone to burst into laughter. There are times he gets on our nerves and makes us really angry, but the next minute we would be seen laughing uncontrollably at his silly jokes which he cracks so innocently.

He is naturally gifted with the ability to make people laugh and happy without stressing himself, everyday he grow older and wiser. I was even surprised when he told me that he would love to be a good content creator in the future. All I did was to encourage and wish him luck in his future quest for entertainment.

Tell Us Any Other Thing You Wishw About Your Family

We are all from Bayelsa state, Nigeria but my Dad and Mum are from two different LGA Yenagoa and Southern Ijaw respectively. We are always there for one another in times of trouble and depression. We pray together, eat together, and equally have fun together as one big happy family. We are Christians, and I can boldly say I have one of the optimistic and positive family in our society.

Conclusion

Families are usually the first love of every child, and I happen to experience it with my family. I love every single member of my family. And as I had mentioned earlier, all the members of my family are wonderfully made. Kudos to the @steemalive team for organizing this interesting challenge.
