Introduction
Smartphones, smartphones, smartphones. There are thousands of them in this 21st century of ours, technology has done more than enough in all ramifications of life and when it comes to mobiles which aid communication. Mobile phones has changed our mode of communication as it differs greatly from how communication was carried out in the past which took the following forms;
- Communication through letters
- people communicated through signs, carvings, images etc which had meanings in them
- Telegraphs were also used for communication back then
- people also communication through jewelries and ornaments
- Paintings and artworks also conveyed some kind of message to the public
The above means of communication was only limited as it wasn't a worldwide/global means of communication. Man had to wait for months before getting a reply or thought on an issue as letters and telegraph had to undergo many protocols before getting to the actual recipient. But with technology in communication, life has been made more efficient, lively and amazing. Mobile phones has enhanced communication via;
1. Sending and receiving mails within seconds
2. It unites bonds and ties between couples, family members, friends etc as they can now see each other via video conferencing room despite their locations
3. Producers can now communicate with their customers and advertise their products without stress paving way for online buying
4. Mobile phones has enabled easy payment transaction of cash in the comfort of ones home
5. We listen to amazing music that lifts our spirit and conveys lovely ideas to the brain
My mobile phone
I'm currently using Tecno spark Go 2021 which is 3 months old. I got it at approximately 580 steem that's #58,000.
It's RAM/ROM space is magnificent
The battery lasts long
It's camera is very clear
Some of it's features could be seen below;
If I'm given an opportunity to make another phone choice, I'll probably go for the Samsung Galaxy S7. It's true that iPhone is what reigns currently in Nigeria because of its clear camera but I think the Samsung Galaxy can do just better, it has an amazing camera, 120Hz infinity display and an all day lasting battery. Currently one can afford it at 993 steem, that's means I'll have to save for a very long time 😁.
Misuse of mobile phones
Mobile phones has been misused through the following means
- Sex chatting
- Terrorism and fraudulent activities like hacking other people's online platforms
- Examination malpractice
- Waste of time
- Unwholesome friendships etc
Conclusion
Mobile phones has been of great importance to us, we ought to make good use of it at all times and be sure to achieve the best.
The invention of phone has being advantageous to human greatly and at the same time has disadvantages. The invention of phone has increased the rate of fraud in Nigeria and other countries
Every advantages also has it's own disadvantages, so we can't be enjoying only the good sides without having to face the reality of the bad sides
It's up to us to decide how we use them
Mobile phones have changed the way we communicate with each other. In the past, people would have to rely on landline phones or walk to the nearest phone booth to make a call. Nowadays, people can stay in their own homes and still be able to make a call to someone else.
Technology has really helped us alot dear😊
The striking benefit of having a Samsung phone instead of iPhone is because of it's battery capacity compared to iPhone.

Nowadays, people can stay in their own homes and still be able to make a call to someone else. They can also text each other instead of talking on the phone. It is easier to stay in touch with friends and family members.
